soulglo: Similar association There's so many situations in life when physical strength means nothing, other abilities mean everything and most of all, strength is nothing without knowing how to use it - abuse is no use, it's a waste. 2 Likes |

red101:Foolery appears to sit well on you! Since you know you can't argue logically, why argue at all? Where did you see me defend violence against women you dolt? Only a beast argues the way you do! I only pointed out that the woman should never refer to her husband as a monster unless she is ready to answer a monster for the simple reason that both of them are abusers. She is a verbal abuser, while the husband is a physical abuser. Pls be smart for once. 5 Likes |

soulglo: Agreed. physically violent people are destructive to the fabric of society. the children watch and grow up to mimic this behavior .. and we breed the next generation in our image. 2 Likes |

isalegan2: I don't know the girl from Adam, paid her private university fees that she had used to settle medical bills at the hospital out of my good heart, told her to keep this a secret because I don't donate openly because the Bible condemns this, and I directed a couple of kind hearted Nairalanders who wanted to donate to the girl to mail Tehn and get their account details to donate to them directly for accountability purposes...Tehn's rep misconstrued this info and started insinuating that they can't give out their coin-laden bank account details because I might be a scammer...so I had to stick my spiky boots far up their ar'se... So Aunty isalegan2, Aunty agbaya ti o mo ara e lagba, your life must be one very interesting one to be stalking the moniker "busybody" up and down NL...keep it up alainikanse, mafilomindasi, ekeyofuro, o wa lara e Iwofa lenu, so keep yakking away like oku ti won gba aso lorun e. We know your type... 3 Likes |

Busybody2: Stumbled on this... And yes I must say I agree with all of what oam4j said there . Didn't know you before the DJ thread but that was the perception I got from tour personality. I've had life long friends like that... An advise dear, you have a good way with words and others know that, they will be defensive of such even when needlessly. Don't give the chance for s discussion to linger on you- not saying you shouldn't hold your ground, just not let it linger long. The times you stayed off and came back later worked nicely. Regardless of opposing opinions, there will be people who will dispassionately look through your points and note them. Have a lovely week. 2 Likes |

semitunde: Thanks ever so much for this well-thought out piece, I will take all your advice on board...I just loathe finding myself in "I told you so" scenarios especially where human life is at stake. And I got fed up of their constant, nauseating "we have learnt our lessons" mantra, which I knew would follow...whereas there are simply some issues in this-one-life-we-all-have-to-live, that one don't play Russian roulettes with... Thanks once again for this reflective piece. 1 Like |

Busybody2: Thanks. Indeed we all have different characters, shaped from life experiences and heredity. It's what makes life interesting. I've long accepted that we are all different and that helps in sifting points out of issues regardless of the style of communication. It requires some mental discipline and admittedly, not many will want to do this; instead, congregating with seemingly like manners. It also takes guts to decide to be different from a group. I always respect that especially if its in the end, to achieve the same purpose. Life has made me flexible. Not everyone believes in this and you sometimes need to respect that too. We are all different. Have a lovely week ahead. 1 Like 1 Share |
