Projected 2015 Presidential Election Results by Kold(m): 6:23pm On Jan 18, 2015
See below my projection of the 2015 presidential election. The assumptions are as follows:

South East
1 PDP is expected to win in all the states in the South East

2 APC should be able to win at least 25% votes in Imo State considering the party is the ruling party in the state and also because national assembly elections will also hold that day.

3 Although PDP won a total of 4.9million votes in 2011 based on an average voters turnout of 67% for the whole zone, the PDP is not expected to get up to that tally in the 2015 election. The figures were inflated but that will not be possible in 2015 as National Assembly elections will also hold that day hence the opposition party will mobilize adequate structure to monitor the election. The aggregate total number of voters for the governorship election in the whole of the region in 2011 (including re run elections) was 2.8m. Based on historical trend, guber elections normally have higher voter’s turnout since it is closer to the electorates and they are more interested in who becomes their governors.

South South
1 PDP is expected to win in all the states in the South South as well.

2 APC should be able to win at least 25% votes in Edo and River States considering the party is the ruling party in both states.

3 Although PDP won a total of 6.1million votes in 2011 based on an average voters turnout of 67% for the whole zone, the PDP is not expected to get up to that tally in the 2015 election. The figures were inflated but that will not be possible in 2015 as National Assembly elections will also hold that day hence the opposition party will mobilize adequate structure to monitor the election. The aggregate total number of voters for the governorship election in the whole of the region in 2011 (including re run elections) was 5.1m. Based on historical trend, guber elections normally have higher voter’s turnout since it is closer to the electorates and they are more interested in who becomes their governors.

Analysis of other zones will follow as soon as possible…please no personal attack, focus on issues.
