@yawatide, the site is www.mybusinesspals.com - the flash in question was the temporary flash advert on the right.
The effect was the comment box and add as friend stuff which is drag-and-drop, when moved over the flash. . . .
In this case, the flash advert must not be hidden, so i cannot alter the display.
Ordinary z-indexing will not go over flash just like that. I ever try setting zindex to 1billion sef.

Hmm, I still don't see that particular page. Is this the page you get after you sign in? Is it possible to give me a test username/password (YIM it to me) for testing purposes? If you don't feel comfortable doing so, did you consider putting your overlay in an iframe?

the page is after you log in. The effect is an ajax one and using iframe will overflog it. i will send u loginn details later.

Do not forget to check periodic updates on the dhtml framework
