@ Denn. dat ur classic German machine In the name of MB 200 no do u now na Volkswagen beetle. kontunu. Seems I have a thirst 4 classic cars. I admire u 4 dat. Anyways my few cents 2 add. I think the coil & d carburetor should also be replaced & do pls get d original coil. cos when i was driving this beetle I always had coil problems &;d car always embarrassed me on the road.

Thanks for the comments. This beetle has been ongoing for some months.

What's your suggestion on the coil and carb?

New coil & carburetor are needed. I guess the one there is the one that came with the vehicle when you bought it from the previous owner.

I have an extra coil....The extra came with the car.

In addition, I have thoughts of getting new carb kits to rebuild instead of getting a whole new carb. I don't mind though if the price is right.

This picture was taken in 1986, that was my Mum's VW Beetle.

Memories of the journeys in this car are priceless.

And yes the car survived till 1997.

Outlived a toyota tercel and Mitsubishi Tredia.

Potty application

Notice the rear tire. It is a 205/75 R 15.

Arches were widened just a little bit during paneling. I hope it fits the front

Also notice the rear bumper hangers have been deleted. There won't be a rear bumper. Anybody who hits me must surely have insurance!!!

Hello

Apologies for the delay. So many events going on at the same time.

Sincere apologies,Please.

This is the current state of the Volkswagen Beetle.

I have recorded a video to show it 'as is' including engine running....a video, they say, is better than 100 pictures.

I have also created a blog to document all my automobile projects (i have a lot on going and in the pipeline)

The blog is https://dennautoworld./

Please feel free to visit and offer your comments and advice

Many thanks

Denn, now that's a colour that really does your Bug justice! It looks awesome.

I think a nice set of wheels and replacement running boards would really set this car off.
