The JTF Commanders on ground were reported to have been taken by surprise and shocked at Buhari’s daring request to proceed to Chibok immediately after the rally and refused to provide him security cover until they received a clearance from their superiors in Abuja.



GMB left for Chibok inspite of their refusal to go along with him and was moved when he came out and saw the thousands of Civilian JTF members who had volunteered to provide security for him,the Borno Governor and their entourage to and from Chibok Town,and off they went.

The people and parents of Chibok were filled with hope and joy upon sighting Buhari and his entourage,and escorted him into Chibok with singing and dancing.


Crowd receives Buhari in Maiduguri

After he addressed the people and parents of the girls, a pastor offered prayers for the safe return of Buhari and his entourage back home and for his victory at the polls.

The villagers got emotional and some of them started weeping when the General was getting set to depart for Maiduguri later in the night.

Is Maiduguri your Origins? What is the big deal if you left Maiduguri in 2013?

On one hand, we have a man who has all the paraphernalia of office, including all the armed forces at his beck and call.... YET HE WAS AFRAID TO VISIT CHEEBOK FOR ALMOST A YEAR.

On the other hand, we have an "ordinary citizen" who wanted to visit Cheebok and the Security assigned to him by Government, REFUSED TO GIVE HIM COVER.... yet he was "man enough" to PROCEED TO CHEEBOK!
he went straight to Cheebok, commiserated with the victims and "ORDINARY CITIZENS".... PROVIDED SECURITY WHICH "NIGERIAN SECURITY" COULD NOT PROVIDE, FOR HIM

That is the legacy of AIG Mathew Mbu and Jonathan, in Rivers State or was it Buhari or Boko Haram that was trying to kill people in APC Campaign in Rivers as well?

Me sef i tireooo How do you expect boko haram to attack their mentor? Even if Buhari is not their sponsor,he will be their preffered presidential candidate and they will never attack him.

If Buhari wants to pull a stunt,he should try and visit the Niger-delta creeks
