Is the American Army not pulling out of Afghanistan. Is the Taliban defeated. Please answer. What happened to Kennedy after the Bay of Pigs debacle? Was he called names. The American military lost the war against an ideological enemy in the Vietcong. Were they condemned by the American public even after grave human rights abuses, torture and massacres.

Is there any active army or military force in the world that hasn't lost any battle. Read your history. The Pacific battles against the Japanese. Caisson, Guadacanal, Iwo Jima. American marines suffered heavy casualties against a Japanese force well adapted to the terrain and fundamentalist in nature. They withdrew many, many times in the course of those battles but prevailed eventually, winning the war.

The Nigerian military has not given up the fight and people talk nonsense. We will prevail. I have never been a fan of armed conflict because I have seen enough. I believe there is a negotiable solution but the enemy must be forced to the table by superior weight of arms and the military is doing that. Without them this country will be overrun. No business, no homes, no family and certainly no network to talk rubbish.

Chadian Military did most of the frontal assault and hostile take over of the many villages held and under the control of Boko Haram and not the Nigerian Military. Why do think the Chadian President was the first to mention the whereabouts and hideout of Shekau the Boko Haram Leader?

No one is running the military down I just think the over politicisation of the military under this government has eroded the high standard and integrity once associated with our Military. The many half truths, misinformations, and lies has made many Nigerians not trust the military.
