2. Do you have any evidence to show anyone was compelled? Christianity has never compelled to my knowledge. Doesn't preach that. There have been instances of stopping people from doing stuff by governments but christianity preaches and represents free will.

Whether he fully converted or not, can be debated. However, he did favour the Christian-cult, and played a major role in the growth of Christianity. Yes, he did persecute Christians before that - but that doesn't negate the role he played afterwards.
