Anyway, I noticed a lot of folks on these sides love Japanese manga and anime series. Seen a lot of handles with different characters - it must be a naij thing. Apart from the sailor moon anime - I never did Japanese anime, save for a few American adaptations. I was too occupied with wrestling, Johnny Bravo, Simpsons, Spiderman etc. - American sitcoms (Cosbys, different world etc.) - and video games. And when Naruto came on TV out here in 2006, Boondocks already stole my heart lol.

Reppin' is just part the vocab out here. It's like a UK thing. When you meet people, it's just normal to ask them what part of the town/city/country they're from. Even if you don't ask, they will most likely tell you depending on the convo. And that transcends to where the parents are from. It just gets you more acquainted with who you're dealing with and what to expect.
