That's 1985 (30 years ago)

This is the present!!

Why should the past frighten people when the present is already worse? What's the logic behind this retar*ded reasoning.

A lot of Nigerians will die to go back to that era, if it means not having to experience the hell they're currently experiencing.

I wonder how some of you Nigerians think, if you can't prove beyond question that things are better now than they were 30 years ago, then you have no point.

75000 graduates unemployed? I wonder how many graduates are unemployed these days?

I like the headline about troops forcing down prices. If you read the story you'll see that this anti corruption thing they say about Buhari is true. He's truly the one Nigeria needs now

Damn! PDP and Jonathan supporters have been campaigning for Buhari for free since 'time immemorial' (like my Nairaland friends say). wink cheesy grin

You agree with me that if front page covers since Jonathan became president in 2010 are posted here on Nairaland, GEJ would be really put to shame right? See how GEJ supporters always tie their man up with confusion. grin

IF I am going to employ you, will I not ask for your CV? Will I not ask for your past records? Why do employers ask for references and why do they sometimes call your former boss?

If your past is tainted, we cannot trust our future to you. That is the most basic issue in any election. Buhari's past is useless so any promise from him for a bright future is a farce! You can keep your lie lie change!

Only the Southeast and some of the South south cannot win the election for GEJ. The poll has a clear winner already.

Stop giving senseless analogies, my point is clear-cut. We don't need to go into the past to find Jonathan's failures, they're right here, right now staring at our faces, the world is also pointing it out for you guys to see.

If you're trying to dissuade people by comparing an era that was clearly a paradise compared to what there is today, they you must have the reasoning of a goat.

Some of those headlines were 1986, one of them as far back as 70s...

My God! How low can people get in the name of clueless campaigns? Market your principal and stop playing on peoples' intelligence.

For your info... I'm yet to decide.

God bless the OP! Now I have faith in the Anti-corruption campaign of the General, more than ever. True, 70,000 graduates were reportedly unemployed, according to the article, but would we say the same number applies under GEJ? I'd rather desire Change at this point than desire the continuity of oil thet, massive looting, the flaunting of an uncouth first lady, the recommisioning of non-functioning power plants, the sickly billions spent on meals, the unaccountability of disappearing funds, the romanticizing and promotion of corrupt public officials and the international disgraces we have been subjected to under Goodluck Jonathan.

#NeverAgain!

And ur sayin change..very good bt wt who and how wil d chang go?

Read the report and not the headlines. if 70, 000 graduates had no job then, how many people were at the infamous immigration job test. The new government took steps it considered necessary to curb waste, indiscipline and corruption et al which remain our problems till date. if you were at least in primary school at that time you will understand better. We need a paradigm shift from the norm or naija way.

That was how it started. 70, 000 was a very huge figure then. How many people were going to universities then. How many universities did we have then?
