National Open University of Nigeria is a different case entirely because it has cost me a lot of time and a lot of closing admission for me and I have called them multiple times, everyday but still yet they don't want to release or send my transcripts to the said University that I have applied for now, the admission is almost running out again I don't know if anybody have any inside there or any advice that they can help me with so that I will be able to process this transcript immediately and it will be sent faster so please help me and there is money involved so thank you very much I know it is in the portal I have applied and fill all the necessary forms but still yet it is taking almost 1 month now and I have applied on January 3rd, 2020 and still yet there is no results on notification whenever I'm calling them they will tell me, that they are busy doing other things processing other people's own so I don't know it's just to send the transcript that is the matter but I don't know why it is taking a very long time for them to send it...

Is not that difficult but you need wisdom, first of all immadiately after getting your statement of result. Just go to anybody you know that has his or company, or NGO or any government office that the person has influence. They should write letter to your school that, they need your transcript for purpose of employment and they should give them specific date they want it. Like in my school you will be required to pay the sum of #10,000 for transcript. A day before the deadline you should go and remind them. If your transcript reach to the organization you can collect it from that your friend, uncle etc scan it and photocopy it much. You are free from transcript wahala.

Getting ur academic transcript in University of Ibadan is HELL!!. At first, u'll have to apply online but will still be mandated to apply offline to be taken seriously (after paying like 3,500 for it). The whole process is so unorganized and stressful!!. You have to wait for several months before they start processing your transcript and another month(s) for it to be ready. If u go to exams& records, u will be disgusted by the archaic method they still use in processing transcripts. Student files are everywhere with no trace of digital footprint. I applied for my transcript on the first week of February but they started processing my request on the 5th of April and eventually collected it on the 18th of May(almost 4 months after applying).
I'm now applying for my brother's. I applied on the 7th of April but they just started processing his transcript request on the 10th of June... It's really appalling and disgraceful for a school like UI

OAU and UI Undergraduate Transcript Processing: The Ways Out of the Unnecessary Delays
We shouldn’t even try to compare the efficiency of OAU and UI when it comes to delivering transcripts, because—although OAU has tried to be better since the introduction of TPS—but the two schools definitely are still not able to keep up with the world of 2023 and take good advantage of the digital revolution as pertaining to transcript production and delivery. Only the means of collecting money for transcript request is digitalized, the process of transcript production itself is only about 5% digitalized, everything else is still very manual, as though it’s 1960’s; most results are still on papers, the transcript units still largely depend on getting results from the departments with a lot of bureaucracy involved, most transcripts are still typed one by one instead of downloading them from a reliable and secure database, most staff are still very reluctant about their duties, so there is no way transcript production would not be delayed unnecessarily.
