Have You Ever Wooed A Lady/girl In Your Language??? by francizy(m): 7:47pm On Mar 13, 2015
I find it very difficult wooing a lady in my native dialect. Although I speak my language fluently because I was brought up with it, I still find wooing a lady in my dialect awkward.

I ended up conversing only in my native dialect with this young, tall, fair and slim lady with nice behind. She's one  of the prettiest females I've ever met. I was so used to speaking my dialect with her that speaking English with her seemed so awkward and I wouldn't dare ask her out with my native language.

She's our tenants kid sister. I usually gist and play with her till she gained admission in 20011 and stopped visiting.  She liked me a lot. Guess she was expecting me to ask her out but I didn't.

We eventually stopped communicating till recently when I asked her elder bro about her. I asked jokingly "how is my wife doing" and he was like she's fine, she's getting married on Easter. I was surprised tho. Jokingly told him that he didn't try for letting her marry someone else and we laughed.

Went upstairs to give her a call. We got talking in my native language as usual. I told her she didn't try for getting married to someone else and to my greatest surprise, she told me I caused it. That she was expecting me to ask her out but I didn't. I felt bad tho.

So my question goes to guys, have you ever wooed a lady in your native language or can you do it?

**Modified**

I think I have to include the ladies in this too..

Have you ever been wooed in your native dialect and how did it sound on the lips of the guy when he was doing the wooing?

You are the first Hausa person am hearing/reading this from. All Hausa people I've met speak their language more than English and they never woo a lady in English except that lady isn't Hausa and doesn't understand Hausa.

That's one thing that makes me respect the Hausas tho.. Their language comes first.
