We wonder how these events would have unfolded if GEJ hadn't stretched the front by inviting Niger and especially Chad into a coalition early February?? From the invasion of Baga, Gambaru to Malam fatori by Chad in the north to the battle space operations by our boys in Marte,Konduga and the defence of Maiduguri-very stupid move by BH to waste precious personnel and resources in that battle aspect,if you ask us- in the south let us not forget Cameroon beefing security at Fotokol in the east plus the Operations of Niger gendarmes in Diffa region in the west...all these culminating into one massive defeat after another for BH, each defeat leaving the group horribly understaffed and armed thus we see a situation whereby they have to throw or gamble more precious assets into helpless firefight situations to cover their losses and eventually climaxing into another defeat (this vicious cycle goes on and on)....tis no wonder the group has been in disarray and is been swept up from all sides. We have said it before and we will say it again that no rag tag gorilla force how much less an islamist type have ever fought off successfully and defeated simultaneously two soveriegn armies on two fronts since the history of modern mankind.....Military strategists in DHQ must be congratulated for this new battle field philosophy but all credits must go to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and our boys on ground for turning that philosophy into reality, damning the opposition critics and their nonsense....

So pray tell me why is this strategy just being used now? Did GEJ arrive on the scene yesterday?

And it is this group of marauders that OBJ.....their newly found spokesman says have a genuine grouse......and should be listened to......
Trust the saddist.....he cannot sit down and see himself not sharing in the glory of the victory of the PGEJ led military over the sect....

It really pains my heart when I read some comments made on this thread.

Fighting terrorism is not a days job nor a years job.

Guerrilla warfare is not also easy to eradicate.

BH are known to use these tactics and it will take lots of planning, understudy and strategies to be able to fight this type of battle.

You can ask America how long it took them to get to osama. Having said these, it will also be noted that the northerners never wanted harm to befall BH hence when total onslaught began against them through Ihejirika, what was the general view of the northern elders and even GMB?

Remember that the BH tactics was initially bombing of churches. It was when their moves swung to bombing and killing of both mosque, moslems, the northern elders stated saying otherwise.

Aside from the fact that it takes a whole while to tackle terrorism and guerrilla warfare, the question is why did the northern elders and their likes never supported GEJ to start this type of total onslaught when he started it? Rather they were sympathizing with BH as at then.

So people should stop criticizing GEJ for not taking the perceived adequate actions then.....there are more to these that meet the eyes!

Yes lives were lost and it is quite unfortunate but GEJ at that point was arm twisted.

No country fights terrorists alone! You can check all the trouble spots. Its not done alone

This time is just the real time because the diplomatic consultations with the neighbouring countries were just concluded hence the successes that are been recorded now.

My advise is that the military should still put more effort especially during the elections because of suicide bombers.

Remember the BH leaflets in Gombe? They should treat that with all seriousness.

GOD bless the GEJ, the president

GOD bless the Nigeria Military and other Military

GOD bless Nigeria

I believe in One Nigeria!

GOD bless you all!

Very on point my brother! GEJ as at then was been cautious and careful cos of the fragile nature of the politics of sentiment in the North. People may not understand.

Its better late than never!

I may not willingly share that intel with you, they let u knw as much as dey want to because u may not be able to keep safe the details. BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BEAutiful if this had been averted a long time, and then laying blame on the opposition to gain sympathy from the government

Who finds it hard to believe a rag tag bunch of militants carrying small arms has the fire power to clear whole towns.

Is this militarily possible with small arms ?

Does it not seem more likely that whilst Chad is pretending to fight Boko Haram, its troops are the ones bombing and clearing towns, to be " capture from Boko Haram" and to be annexed by them when America controlled UN formally allows Chad to keep Nigerian territories, for the purpose of achieving America's objective of breaking up Nigeria.

Is it also not obvious that our corrupt government are colluding with enemies who are breaking up Nigeria?
Re: Ashes And Death: What Boko Haram Left Behind In Baga - BBC by Nobody: 4:59am On Mar 18, 2015
Does it make any sense for a small militant group like Boko Haram to clear whole towns? What do they gain from doing that?

Are they gonna form an Islamic state that contains only their fighters?

Guerrilla groups are effective because they hide themselves within the local population, so it makes no military sense that Boko Haram (even if they had the fire power to do so) would clear a whole town of its entire population.

Nigerians better wake up to what is really happening. Read my signature below:

An opposition parallel govt is needed immediately. Our country cannot afford any weeks of PDP govt.
