ambrosini593:I just watched the video and I didn't hear her say 'Edo prostitutes'. She talked about 'girl-child trafficking'. There was just one time I heard her use the word 'prostitute' but it was very different from the way some people are saying. This is actually the first time I'm hearing her speak and to be honest, I was quite impressed with the way she expressed and carried herself. For those who didn't watch the video for themselves, these were her words: 'There must be a design, a cultural design that can accommodate a widow and then a design that will make a girl child feel comfortable wherever she is in this country. She doesn't need to leave her country to go and prostitute elsewhere. It's not her portion.' Let's try to be fair here. 3 Likes |

Cityguy: Shut the Bleep up abeg! You Jonathan supporters are the most hateful, disguting, slimy things ever! What the hell is wrong with identifying problems peculiar to every state she vists? Did Aisha go to Katsina and say "we are not like them that born shildren troway for Italy?" Aisha identified a problem and talked about it in Edo not in Kano. So what the fucking hell is your damn problem? How can your conscience even begin to allow you compare what Patiance said to Aisha's 1 Like |

bright007:Do you know Edo women undergraduates? Do you know Edo woman lecturers? Engineers? Accountants? Judges? Magistrates? Lawyers? Doctors etc? Was Hajia talking about this hardworking and successful women? Definitely not. The message was meant for Edo prostitutes and as a woman Mrs Buhari is in a better position to speak on it. She does not belong to Edo Market Women Association and I do not know of any organized forum that she was invited to speak on female trafficking. A political campaign laying out what an incoming First Lady will do for women, in Edo state , that does not mention prostitution and how to combat it , is a charade. Hajia Buhari was spot on. She deserves our support to root out this shame on Edo women, and, by extension, Edos. 1 Like |

If they're attacking the NEXT first lady for respectfully pointing out the grey area of their social problem that needs to be tackled, it is more like saying they are pleased with the prostitution business. Dirty people 1 Like |

bokohalal:my friend go and tell that to the dogs........ is prostitution a monopoly of the edo girl child? Are there not more solution-demanding problems in edo state than prostitution? even if her mouth was so itchy that she had to spew out those words, it shouldn't have been in a campaign rally. there are more problems in edo state demanding solutions 2 Likes |

bright007:It is glaring that you do not have a grasp of politics. Hajia is not contesting for any political office. She cannot speak on the economy or security. She is a mere domestic appendage (apologies to WS) and will only use that opportunity to make life better for women. Lest I forget, you do not have to vote for Buhari. He is winning , regardless. Do your permutations. 1 Like 1 Share |

bright007: Now listen and listen good. Aisha goes round each state talking problems AFFECTING WOMEN AND CHILDREN in that state. In Edo the main problem is trafficking. In Akwa-Ibom it's toturing children over witchcraft allegations etc. She doesn't go to the north and make fun of southern problems maliciously. She discusses each state issues in that state. Now please in your church mind, what EXACTLY is wrong with that? 2 Likes |

natkey: So unless they call you thief, if you are around and people start hiding their purses, you wouldn't accept they were taking you for a thief ? The Buhari woman had contempt for Edo people whose women she had in mind as prostititutes when she chose that topic of girls and prostitution. And by the way, why is the Buhari woman making promises she knew she cannot fulfil if any miracle makes her first lady? Does she believe we are stupid? Prostitution is the oldest job in the world. It is universal. |

maestroferddi: We have lots of 'educated illiterates' in Nigeria... the future of Nigeria is bleaking. Even the 'aged ones' are 'living' our future for us rendering the youths unplaced. My question is "HOW ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE A DECISION FOR THE FUTURE WHEN YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE IN IT?" -Chris Rock on Mc Caine (who was 72years *too old* when he contested and lost against Obama in 2012) It's now "The youths are the followers of tomorrow" SMH. |

bokohalal: you are an illiterate just like your dumb herdsman called buhari. who ever said she was contesting for a political office?....or maybe if her husband wins the election, she will reject the title of a first lady and all the glory that comes with it. if that is what she told you, then you are a fool without inquiry to have believed her. and the part where you wrote that she cannot speak on the economy or security, but she can speak on the social menance? and for your last statement, Buhari is a serial loser and he will lose again come march 28. He will brake his own record of being the first to lose presidential election 4 times in a row. 1 Like |

masseratti: All this screed equals gibberish if you are not from Edo. Would you go to Kastina and tell them how you will stop child marriage? An unimaginable blunder has been hurled at a tribe and you dare trivialise it? You are as pedestrian politically as Aisha and her crude speech writer. Your saving grace is the impenetrable vest which Nairaland offers conscienceless folks like you to blabber incognito. Filthy gift crushes conscience! |
