"APC suffering near-success syndrome trauma" - PDP on alleged plot to arrest Tinubu

The ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has responded to an allegation by the All Progressives Congress, APC, that President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to immediately arrest the opposition leader, Bola Tinubu.

Olisa Metuh, PDP National Publicity Secretary in a statement on Saturday said the attention of his party had been drawn to the press release signed by APC spokesman, Lai Mohammed.

The PDP scribe noted: “We have always insisted that spokespersons of political parties as distinct from support staff should maintain the highest level of decency, civility and morals in the discharge of our duties.

“However, it remains rather shocking that 98 percent of Lai Mohammed’s statements bother on the frivolous and poorly produced wild accusations”.

“We do not speak for the EFCC but we will not support any action that can trigger unrest in an election we are winning very comfortably.

“APC is suffering from near success syndrome trauma and it often leads to paranoia and delusion. Let them refocus on issues and plan on how to rebuild the tatters of their failed experiment,” PDP added.

Lol @ " their failed experiment" .Olisa Metuh has never hesitated with well crafted words, to put APC where it actually belongs, in the dustbin of Nigerian politics.

PDP is suffering from a 'near-loss syndrome trauma'. They know what Nigerians would do to them on the 28th of march.

PDP, the new main opposition party in Nigeria. grin grin grin

The fact that APC keeps revealing your plans (real and imagined) always keep you on defensive mode.

Kudos to APC once again. grin grin
