Kwankwaso performed extremely well and he has a cult like following in Kano. Also his LG and hometown has the largest number of voters in the senatorial zone he is contesting for. If anything. he can't lose because he is contesting on a different party from what Buhari is.

If we want to follow their analogy, it means CPC should have won all Senatorial seats in Kano in 2011 because of the Buhari factor but we all know PDP won the senate and HOR seats while Buhari won the Presidency. Most believe the Northerners just vote like a herd. Nah. They also have their preferred Candidates and it's very evident in this elections.

yeah the same Abacha, he was very strong in CPC then, he was chased out of PDP by Kwankwaso, joined CPC and used money to destabilise it in Kano. That incident cost the party alot in 2011.

The red cap movement in kano is too strong for any politician to counter, only buhari can take kwankwaso to the cleaners in kano ! Couple with his sterling perfomance, it is just impossible for him to lose any election, you can't dispute the buhari factor as well, sure lamido's men are falling like a pack of cards in jigawa presently, despite their principal popularity, but the buhari tsunami was too powerful for lamido to oppose !
