For me the main emphasis should be on 'Love'. once there is genuine love in the relationship the age doesn't really matter provided the girl is above 18. If a 30 yr old man will love, cherish and respect her why should she neglect that for a stormy relationship with a young boy?

Ladies are confused set of beings and I doubt if God Himself understands them. I have heard quite a few number of ladies saying the cannot date their age mates, why ? Because they consider their mate as inexperienced and immature

We have thousands of foolish, immature, inexperienced men and vice versa, and on the other hand, we have immature, inexperienced and young dudes and vice versa

I see no reason whatsoever why a sensible lady should consider dating an old man because he presumes he's experienced and matured

Not all bruvv!! That's just an assumption. A lot of them get into a relationship because of several other reasons such as being lonely, finance etc.

They are quite emotional and that plays a major role in their decisions. That's why a girl would ask a guy while making love to the guy if he loves her.

I am not disputing the fact that they don't have those hopes but most of the time that didn't propel them to start the relationship. It came after they started making lots of commitment to the guy.

If we look long, hard and deep enough we will definitely find factors that can hinder every relationship including those with little age difference as well those with a sizeable age difference. That being said, love can conquer almost all (not all) other factors.

like someone mentioned before, Beyonce has made a successful home with Jayz despite a 12 year age difference. As the time they started dating, she was 19 and he was around 31. Their marriage has had its share of ups and downs but they stuck with it. While I am not saying that every young lady has to be a Beyonce copycat, I feel their marriage has shown that sizeable age gap is not a barrier to a blissful marriage. Do you know that there is a ten year age gap between Omotola jolade and her husband. Omotola married him when she was 18 and he was 28. Despite that, their marriage is by all accounts, blissful several years after. Some other actresses who married their age mates did not spend up to two years in wedlock before divorcing.

My point simply is; if a young girl finds love in the arms of a much older man, she would be a fool not to damn the factors and plunge headlong into it.
