I have really tried to be caring, but it just seems like i cant ever be.. it affects my r/ship with people on a major scale.. and am tired of always apologizing and promising to change .. Although am a nurse and people expect me to be caring.. i am actually caring to my patients (patients care i guess is different from normal socio-interactive care ) because i cant seem to bring that whole loving nature in interactions with friends.. Wow. I also have a similar problem & my advice to you is to be loving to the few that you actually care about. I think it's impossible to give a damn about everyone to be honest. With me, it's only a handful of people (5 at most) & I give my all to them. With the rest, I just nod & smile, basically faking it, because there's no other way around it, I can't force myself to care when I don't. So just stick with the ones that you know bring out that side of you, the ones that don't, well tough, they can find someone else who cares. I really don't know what else to say but I fully understand your predicament. All the best. 6 Likes |

tohpahz:That's the problem. You allow your inner critic to completely tear you apart and convince you that all your efforts are not enough. The funny thing about this thing is that you are the one who look for evidence that your are not caring. I can bet my flat nyash that your bf doesn't feel thesame way. Listen, big things don't always count in relationship so take out time to think about all the wonderful, unique things you have done for people to show that you care and you will see that they all see you as caring person.
