At what age should you able to have a boyfriend?

At whatever age your parents allow you to start having boyfriend.

i disagree with you, coz if you say that, most parents dont even know when their kids start dating.

Depends on what the term "Boyfriend" means to you.
I had my first in Kindergarten, he was my best friend then!
But if you mean what I think Nigerians' mean when they say "Boyfriend", its neither here nor there.

Having a boyfriend... well i think you should have a boyfriend when you know you are ready to handle a relationship. Relationships come with pain and joy.... so you gotta be prepared for both! Dont have a boyfriend when you are not ready for these joy(s) and pain(s). But i also think 18 is kinda okay.

When, u are ready, n ur parents ain't against it, cos some parents are against their kids having BF/GF till they feel they are a bit older, n more matured.Which in mine opinion is nonsense!

it's very rare to find a couple who aren't involved in a sexual relationship, so i think because of this a boy or a girl should be informed of everything that concerns this type of emotional attachment(dating oneanother). Now a days we see also 12 yrs old kids jumping into dating without knowing what they are dealing with. inconscence of this type brings problems into your life such as the result of the ignorance of the word Boy/Girlfriend.
