Which of the Governor-elects are likely to be removed by Tribunals after this 2015 General Election?

have you forgotten that tribunals no longer have the power to remove any sitting governor... they can only order re election..

1. Barr. Nyesom Wike (PDP) Rivers State.

2. Chief Udom Emmanuel (PDP) Akwa-Ibom State.

3. If they deny Chief Rochas the governorship seat, whoever they shall give it to shall be sacked by the Court.

4. Abia State governor-elect shall not be spared.

So far I'm sure of these.

Mention one APC winning state were intimidation killing and ballot box snatching were recorded. Just one.

These things would be swept under the carpet if the winner is someone the people at the helm wanted.
I've come across a thread in which some people lamented about the Ajimobi's re-election. He is not very popular apparently, but managed to get the majority of votes. No possibility of rigging there, right?
And why are fingers continually being pointed at the SS, esp when the topic is the presidential election, when it is clear that there was massive rigging in the north as well?
Let the worse rigger accept defeat and congratulate the better rigger. That is what happened at the presidential level after all.
If elections in Rivers and other states of interest are cancelled, we may as well cancel all elections held this year and do them all over.
Competition is healthy for democracy. No single party should have a monopoly.

I am not trying to be tribalistic here but just saying things as they are. If anyone will agree that the igbo nation is the problem of this country. Not until every igbo man learn to respect a fellow Nigerian where ever they find themselves, they will forever remain in conflict with each other and other tribes. Look across the nation the highest level of violence and poll irregularities happened in the SE and SS where as in other parts of the nation it was peaceful and quiet. This was a situation they nearly panned out in Lagos because of their ungrateful attitudes towards their hosts. However Lagos will always continue to be peaceful. Rather than cause problems in other people's land why not channel that strength to love yourself? If Igbos don't love themselves how can they love others?

its obviouse people dont understand the fact that Rivers state is a core PDP state and as such even if you bring an "object"
and tag it PDP it will sell.

so no matter the ranting of anybody it will not cause earthquake.PDP will always will so Amaechi should bow out gracefully.

by the way a win for DAKUKU is a third tenure for amaechi to continue is rule in the state.

change is here. new government.....returning the state to original PDP

Lol....@being bi.tch slapped. I quite agree with u up to a point that Rotimi hasnt been dogged enuf but I can attribute it to Rochas fighting for his own re-election & Amaechi not. Besides Rivers is way volatile than Imo & considering d Patience factor too which makes Amaechi's struggle more herculean. Summary is Imo & Rivers situations cant b mounted on same pedestal....

can't be mounted on the same pedestal but you see my point that in 4 years Rochas has a structure from which to fight his battle. In 16 years Amachi has none.
If Amaechi was contesting against Wike, the result would have been marginally worse.

Wike is a first class tout, imagine an aspirant keeping the result sheet in his house while others r busy voting during the Presidential and Nass election..The chance of not removing him is very slim.

stop dreaming.
I hope it is not the same international observers who Amaechi had used as consultants during his days as Speaker and in the governors forum?
I had PDP like the next man but i love reality.
Amaechi and Dakuku lost to a man who irrespective of his brawl filled brain and lack of any coherent plan for the state apart from violence, is a grassroots mobilizer. That is the only thing that works in Rivers politics. The people are not interested in ideology nor plenty grammar.
After 16 years in power, Amaechi was floored with ease by Wike.
He needs to rethink his political mechanism. It is exceedingly faulty.[/qu
mumu,,,, is amaechi contesting

What do you mean by massive rigging in the north please? The only place where election did not hold but results were declared was SS

Wike for sure.

But the worst thing is that Wike did not need to rig. He would have won in a free and fair election because he has the support. But instead, he chose to make mockery of the whole process.

No dey yarn opata...

APC cannot win election in Akwa Ibom state.

If you conduct the election 1million times, Umana will not win.

Udom Emmanuel is from Eket senatorial district, he also carried the whole of Ikot Ekpene district where Akpabio comes from.

Where was Umana going to get his votes from? His Nsit Ubium base and indeed the whole of Uyo- Etinan axis is completely controlled by PDP.

You don't join APC three months to a guber election and expect to win. Where are the structures?

Are there no better ways of making himself somewhat visible to Tinubu and Buhari in the incoming APC government?

He was in Channels this morning crying wolf. When Sen Effiong Bob took him on, he lost his voice and was talking out of turn.

Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom).

How can they have over 70% voter turnout when the national average is 35-45%. How can APC have less than 10%of of votes cast when the national average for best loosers is 30-48%.

The scale of rigging & intimidation that I saw was just disgraceful.
let me tell you incase you are so ignorant of the fact that whether tribunal or not Udom will still be governor because the zoning went to eket constituency and umana is from uyo. so he was even wrong at first to contest.be wise

Most of the people talking are not even from Rivers and akwa ibom spo u won't know that the violence in those states were masterminded by the candidates of APC!
Get ur facts right before commenting.
The truth is that the people in ekiti, rivers and akwa ibom want pdp in their states. Why can't apc accept defeats like pdp states where they won.
False change!

Thank God for the comment of Mr Bevista ,Apakbio thinks everybody is a fool. So their wuruwuru votes can be statically disproved in an election tribunal. That election can not stand. May be they think it is business as usual unknown to them that operation no room for corruption is out..whether by judiciary or executive ,no room for nonsense again in Naija
