Buruji Kashamu is a man indicted in America for allegedly smuggling heroin, in a court case that was the basis for the TV hit “Orange Is The New Black,” has been elected a senator in Nigeria. A British court refused a U.S. extradition request in 2003 over uncertainty about Kashamu’s identity. Chicago Judge Richard Posner thought otherwise when he refused a motion to dismiss Kashamu’s case last year.

Kashamu is suing Obasanjo for libel for stating that Kashamu is a fugitive from U.S. justice.

I don't like kashamu but I saw one thread where he clearly presented facys about his role in the scandal.
His opponents should counter it properly or keep quiet

The man can afford a plane ticket, he should just buy a ticket to New York, go there and prove his innocence. Easy, isn't it

And why are some people quick to defend Kashumu, if he's sure of his innocence, let him go to the on legislative duties.
