Trash talk. He should have behaved like Gbagbo, and face the consequences. Nobel Price is not just being dished out anyhow. Recipients must deserve it.

Consequences from who? Even if he had refused to hand over power to Buhari, the worst thing that could happen is the division of Nigeria.

Hausa + Youroba = Nigeria

Others will find their own country.

Na only Buhari get supporters?

Delusional people, you think the rest of the world has the same backward standards of achievement and integrity as you do. A man tried to rig election, lost and was pressured to try no funny business by the whole world. And he deserves Nobel. Won't even manage reputable nomination (not submitted by his village) for Mo Ibrahim, you are talking Nobel.

I concur. His name will surely be submitted. Knowing the history of democracy in Nigeria and Africa, what he did was a milestone. Even USA was shocked and ' disappointed' .

He deserves a nomination, or a mention...not the award. His exploits are not to strong for the award.
Kudos to him though!

In Nigeria where our politicians are as desperate as anything, probably the most desperate in the World,he deserves an award.

Babangida annuled credible election

Obasanjo conducted 2 fraudulent elections and even wanted to go for an unconstitutional 3rd term.

Buhari's supporters sent over 1000 people to their early deaths in 2011 because Buhari lost.

Buhari's team made it clear that "should election be rigged, they won't go to court but will form parallel government".

Buhari accepted the 2015 results despite the fact that there was cleaaaaaaaaaaaar case of Almajiri kids voting for him. All because he was declared winner.

Despite the electoral skimish in the North, incumbent Jonathan had to accept the result because "his ambition is not worth the blood of anybody".

Truly, Jonathan is the only Democratic President Nigeria has ever produced. He's a complete gentleman and a Man of Peace.

He deserves the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize.

Buhari contested 3 elections
He rejected results of those 3 elections
He went to court 3 times after those 3 elections
Gej contested 2 elections, lost 1 and congratulated the winner before the finale results were declared.

3 times Buhari lost. 3 times he was rigged. Perhaps he would have still lost but that was not the reason for going to the courts. He did it to help sanitize the electoral process. To help reduce 22M fictitious votes to less than 13M that it should have been.

Each time he challenged the elections, his number got higher and it culminated in 2015, when he eventually beat the incumbent.

Say what you will about him but GMB is a true democrat. GEJ did everything possible to rig the elections but he failed. He had no option but to concede defeat.

Fair enough, his village can give him that award, we don't always have to wash our dirty laundry of low expectations and underachievements for the rest of the world to see. Bayelsa can give him award for being an incompetent president but at least handing over.

Mogidi, I love the part of what is happening in Burundi. It funny how some people were thinking that if GEJ had rigged or forced an amendment of the constitution to emerge victor, by hook or by crook, then America would have intervened.

Why are they not doing anything about Burundi? And, what has the protests led to? If Jonathan had wanted to win by force, he would have. People would have lost their lives(just like Burundi)but, the man would have still remained in Aso Villa.

He deserves every commendation that is, and would come his way.

Abubakar Audu is right on point on dis one.
To keep Nigeria one is a task that MUST be carried out by ALL

I pray Buhari learns to give power to the next president just like Jonathan did, shld he fails the next election in 2019

Nothing special about him accepting defeat. If he hadn't, his own would have become like that of the ex- Ivorian president *Laurent Gbagbo#* the world was already against GEJ.

I doubt if the Nobel Peace Prize committee will be willing to bestow the coveted and revered prize to a Leader who thinks Stealing is not corruption.

GEJ doesn't even deserve a spot in the long list for the Nobel Peace prize.

Some Niggers think the Nobel prize is like buying a Chieftancy title in their villages.
