Normality:

It is your ability to think as a black monkey and your docility that has impoverished Nigerians and Africans at large, quit whining, if you want to fight off white supremacists, carry out a revolution, pull out of AU(old haggard white stooges), UN, IMF, World Bank and stop looking sheepishly at looters and kleptomaniacs as they plunder "oyel money" and take it to foreign countries to store.
When we are ready to change this contraption, lets revolt, execute OBJ, Atiku, IBB, T.Y Danjuma, Tinubu, T.A Orji, Amaechi, Elechi, GEJ all those vagabonds in NASS and jail others who have stolen us to non-ending poverty. Kill off all those wicked old men in politics, tear the police into shreds and carry our proper building.
Else, stop whining about the award giving to one person out of few hundreds ruining this country and keep quiet.
When Nigeria is ready to change, we will know, else it is only to cry and whine and sigh and lament but no action.

When Biafra comes, all those dirty thieves and politicians will either be put away for life or hanged in their compound to set example. Sanity will be restored and everyone will be accountable.

If I am a black monkey, what does that make you? A silver backed gorilla?

If Africans are as docile as you claim how come Sankara tried to kick the French out of Burkina Faso oh and how about Mugabe who many of you hate, how come he kicked the racist landowners out of his country?
What about Lumumba of Zaire, was he also a docile black monkey?
Last but by no means least how about Mandela who spent 27 years of his life in prison in order to bring an end to white domination of black south Africans in his country , was he also a docile monkey?

YOu are just another simpleton who has zero understanding about how and why Africa is where its at today, speaking the truth to simpletons like you equates to whining, but when the Jews speak about the holocaust it equates to educating the world - you are a simpleton.

Igbos are reactive cowards
Of course this title is false and a bait to draw your attention to this thread, seeing how anything Igbo sells like hot fire
Now what am I saying?
I am saying that Igbos are reactionary and should be more proactive when dealing with Yorubas
Yorubas have a deep-seated hatred for Igbos, despite the edgy but so far peaceful co-existence existing between them
However, Yorubas have done a couple of things, some at the whole-Igbo level, others at individual Igbo-level, to exemplify their hatred for any and everything Igbo

1. At the whole Igbo level, they betrayed Igbos during the Biafra war
2. At the whole Igbo-level, they threatened Igbos in Lagos with being drowned in the lagoon should they vote for a Yoruba candidate other than the one ordained by Tinubu
3. At the whole Igbo level, one of their own in Texas called for the extermination of Igbos in Lagos for not kotowing to theh Yoruba herd mentality of voting for Ambode
4. At the individual Igbo level, they started the campaign to undermine Philip Emeagwali. Fortunately it did not take them anywhere.
5. At the individual Igbo level they started the campaign to undermine Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. This one bounced back on their tiger-clawed faces.

There are more examples. Like several Yorubas home and abroad writing hate-filled articles about Igbos. In all these cases, they were bold enough to do it with real names, not fakes internet monikers like Francis5 (me). For that, I give them credit. This is where Igbos have been either cowardly, reactive, disinterested or all of the above.

Now why are Igbos not similarly undermining Yorubas and Yoruba interest anywhere in the world?

Few Igbos have risen to some of the most enviable positions in global/continental affairs, unlike Yorubas. As of date, there is no Yoruba equivalent of Ngozi Iweala (Former WB MD); there is no Yoruba answer to Oby Ezekwesili (former WB, VP); there is no Yoruba response to Arunma Oteh (former African Development Bank [AfDB] VP) and of course, there is no Yoruba mate to Kanayo Nwanze (current President of the International Fund for Agric. Development, IFAD).

Yoruba are making the first ever move to one of such positions, in the person of Akinwumi, current minister of Agriculture, who is vying for the president of AfDB.

Yorubas claim that GEJ's government is a failure. If that is the case, there is no choosing and picking: Akinwumi is also a failure and therefore ineligible to lead the AfDB.

This is time for Igbos to be proactive for once: a campaign against Akinwumi is in order at this time. He has 7 other Africans contesting against him. Please Igbos, start to send stuff to ADB and personally to the other candidates on how much of a failure GEJ's government is and therefore a minister who served in that failed government should not be trusted to lead ADB. I am taking the lead. Please use real names, even if they are not your name. Let the revenge begin, Now.

Another reason to not vote for Akinwumi: the person in charge of the AfDB voting process is a Yoruba. His name is C. Akintomide (email: c.akintomide@afdb.org). For neutrality, the Africa must be made to know that a Yoruba cannot be allowed to conduct an election in which another Yoruba is a candidate. It will be rigged like any election in Nigeria will be rigged. Please send the message across to other candidates. Akinwumi must be disqualified.

‘Yale has never revoked an honorary degree,’ University reacts to petition to withdraw Okonjo-Iweala’s doctorate
A spokesperson for Yale revealed exclusively to Pulse that the university has never revoked an honorary degree and does not intend to do so now.

Nigerians who are seeking the revocation of Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala’s honorary doctorate from Yale University might see their aims frustrated as the institution has no plans of withdrawing the award.
A spokesperson for Yale revealed exclusively to Pulse that the university has never revoked an honorary degree and does not intend to do so now.
The petition for the degree to be revoked was started three days ago by Sunday Iwalaiye, a Nigerian resident in the US, and has now gained more than 5,000 signatures.
“We are aware of both an online petition to revoke and a second petition in support of the honorary degree,” Karen Peart, Deputy Press Secretary for the Yale Office of Public Affairs & Communications, told Pulse via email on Friday, May 22, 2015.
“The university has never revoked an honorary degree,” she added.
Peart also said that the award given to Okonjo-Iweala “joins others that have recognized her efforts over more than three decades to secure debt relief, promote food security, and foster economic and social development.”
The petition urging Yale to ignore calls for the withdrawal of the award was started two days ago by one Valentine Onwuka and has so far gotten 1,690 signatures.
In 2014, Yale was also asked by many, including its own alumni, to revoke an honorary doctorate granted to Switzerland billionaire Stephan Schmidheiny, who was found guilty in 2012 of creating an asbestos environmental disaster which caused about 2,000 deaths in Italy.
Yale refused the request saying that “the revocation of an honorary degree would be unprecedented.”
Dr Okonjo-Iweala was named a Doctor of Humane Letters on Monday, May 18, 2015 during Yale's Commencement ceremony

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, victory is yours alas!
Yale isn't some satellite university of oduduwa university where tribalism is the order of the day. Hard work will continue to win over strife and undue tribalism.

Out of several thousands of tribes in black Africa, it took the police department, an essential organ of state in far away Thailand to declare that the Igbo race are a disgrace to the entire black race. Is Thailand a satelite campus of Oduduwa or Ibadan universities ? If the collective Igbo race has any shame or dignity, islnt that drubbing enough food for thought ?

But the Thailand Police is the international neutral referee between the Igbo and other black african races. Please refer to their verdict and scorecard. Cowardly is when grown men without brains of their own march up to war with cassava stem to take bullet from brazen guns of adekunle while their folk hero ran away dressed up like a woman to corlte d'ivoire.

Funny when nyamiris and people battling with OSU caste systems amongst themselves forgot the fact that their lineage from generations are known idiots and fools

How many did ojukwu led to their early graves again?

Guess who are the cowards? Your forefathers.

Yorubas have a different definition for cowardice and bravery.

Boys that took cassava sticks to a gunfight are cowards, while the man that brought a gun to the fight and fled is the brave one and hero - he not only had guns, he had 35, 000 soldiers with him and still he fled.

(Its on wikkipedia and online... here, I got it for yousmiley

"Although Shuwa's 1st Division successfully captured Okigwe and the Obilagu airstrip the operation resulted in disaster for Adekunle's 3rd Marine Division in which it lost over 20,000 of its 35,000 soldiers, over 2/3 of the entire division, and found itself in short supply of both men and food."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_OAU

Boys with cassava sticks chasing and killing grownass men with guns... nah wah o!

Their Generals weep and run...

Their men are taken on by women (from Dahomy)

Biafran boys kick their oily behinds..

maybe that's why they hate seeing Biafrans prosper and want degrees or awards revoked?

I never wanted to quote anybody on this issue but you touched sensitive part my good friend.

What has Biafra got to do with the brouhaha of Okonjo's honorary degree being revoked?

If the mastermind of that episode was a Yoruba man then I guess he is just been blinded and myopic to see the truth of what the finance minister has done. And that to me is a shame.

So my friend liking this futile and fruitless venture such as this to a more purposeful venture such as the Biafran struggle shows that perhaps you were not thinking out side the box or maybe you were not seeing the big picture of that very crucial struggle in the 60's

Biafra struggle was not a failure and till tomorrow, its still not a failure!

You have to understand the psyche of these people - when they feel they are losing against the Igbos, even if a Yoruba and Igbo are supporting 3SC and Enyimba respectively, if Enyimba wins, the loser(s) will say "Well, at least you lost the war" lol just to help them feel better.

so the moment you see them do that, know that e don pepper them for body well well... that people that lost a war over 40 years ago is competing with them apparently doesn't irk them.

So don't be bothered one bit about them mentioning Biafra; as you said it is a war we are proud to have fought, shows what we can do as a people. Igbo kwe nu!!!
