YOU CAN ONLY LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. We see our world through our orientation and perspectives. We rise by how we first treat ourselves. If we live in the past, we drag people into our past. If we live in the possibilities of the future, we project people into that future. We can only make our world by the standards of how we make ourselves. How can you set out to make friends when you are not friends with yourself? If you do not love you, how do you expect us to love you? And how would you love us to love you when you keep feeling useless? Don't become a foot mat then complain when folks step on you! Are you carrying emotional wounds from a childhood of abuse, neglect, and shame? It is criminal to hate yourself because of the incidence and people of your past. The beauty of relating with others is lost when we allow suspicion and fear destroy our inner man. No wonder we respond with such anger, envy and jealousy. Your environment could have molded you but you don't have to remain in that mold. Your previous relationship could have abused you but you don't have to remain abused for the rest of your life. Stop carrying about the corpse of a dead relationship. Bury it! Decide to love yourself, and sooner or later, others will love you. People's opinion of us could be learning points on our journey of life, but they should never dictate our pace. No man should have the final say about your life. Begin today to admire yourself and appreciate your qualities. Take in the lessons of this write up and strive to understand them. You are destined to blossom like a rose.
