BREAKING: President Buhari Fulfills Pledge Regarding Fight Against Boko Haram by Nobody: 11:51am On Jun 14, 2015
President Muhammadu Buhari said on June 13 that
he had directed the release of $21million, out of
the $100million pledge, to the Multinational Joint
Task Force within the next week. According to The Punch, Buhari made this known
during the African Union Peace Security Council in
Johannesburg, South Africa. Recall that speaking last week at the Lake Chad
Commission meeting Nigeria’s president promised to
pay $100million pledged by Nigeria towards the
Multi-National Joint Task Force’s effort to defeat
Boko Haram .
“Permit me, at this junction, to recall that Nigeria has
already pledged the sum of $100 million for the
smooth take off of the MNJTF. I hereby reassure you
that my government will keep faith with this promise.”
The pledge is likely to be fulfilled in the nearest
future, based on the fresh reports. It should be noted
that during the Saturday meeting Buhari also praised
Nigeria’s allies over boldly fighting under the
umbrella of the MNJTF to tackle Boko Haram
insurgency.

Let's get down to business of ending terrorism on Nigerian soil...my joy is not the pledge alone, but that it would be monitored!

May God continue to protect and guide all his decisions and steps. Even the enemies know he has better plans for our Country but will not stop insulting him because of their love for President Jonathan. I believe they will praise him soon.

Where they no the same people that criticized GEJ for seeking loans to fight Boko Haram?

Did they not criticize GEJ for seeking alliance with neighboring countries to defeat Boko Haram?

How they now do exactly same thing in an even higher proportion is amazing to me. And how same set of Nigerians mainly domiciled from certain regions can live up to this double standard is funny to me.

Education is indeed priceless. Seeing beyond propaganda is an attribute of an educated person which sadly enough majority of Nigerians are not and we are ably represented by a dullard who keeps doing same thing he criticized just weeks ago.

Training a fool is not a joke.

This is impressive. Now we get to see real action, however it would be helpful if we were furnished with the budgetary allocation for this expenditure. 20 billion Naira is a lot of money in these austere times.

That said, I am 100% confident in President Buhari's ability to end the menace of BH. He did it before in '85.
