Importance :

Main-
it enable banks to track down people operating different account through their finger print

it enable you to withdraw your cash from any banks across the country

a great initiative that would reduce illegal banking transactions and improve national financial intelligence gathering

It help the banking system reduce situations where loan defaulters, for instance, move from one bank to the other and the banks extend new credits to them

Banks would be able to track transactions across all banks in Nigeria with more ease

Biometric enrolment is helpful to people who cannot read and write

This is the same kind of excuse they keep repeating and its now getting really annoying. What about the biometrics we did for MTN and other telecoms coys and the one we did for driving license and the recent/ongoing national id card. If the system is really working, what stops these clowns from collecting the already given biodata across the various channels and simply ask us to come verify/confirm.

I have said this b4 and I'll repeat it again - I will wait till 30mins to the close of business on the last day before I even think whether or not I should bother about this BVN
