I am dating a lady who has been there for me during the 'valley' period of my life.I have made up mind to marry her.I am yet to meet her mother and siblings.Though,I do communicate with her mother on phone.

I planned to visit her mother sometime in October this year.

I really want to engage my girlfriend to tell her that I am serious in having her as my wife to cherish and love her.

Is it proper that I engage her after meeting her mother or I can do that before my proposed visit to see her mother.
