i don't see what savoring moments have to do with closing my eyes? So, i'm guessing when you people get married and have sex with your husbands or wives, your eyes would be closed too. Or is sex not as "passionate" or whatever as kissing?

My guy, I or people close there eyes while kissing because, the sensation goes into your system an encourage your body system or prepares your body for what to do and that definatly goes in monumental memory.
What noting is the difference between casual and intensed "kisses". When the kiss is casual, you are likely not to close your eyes .but when it si the other way round, my friend it's hevenly with the eyes particularly closed.

i can agree with closing your eyes for concentration. . .but, I'm typically not doing anything else when praying. No need to close my eyes. . .i doubt anything I see would distract me at that point.
