You have a problem with comprehension.
A tenure that is already accruing 57b in a month is a disaster.
This has nothing to do with jonathan.

All the heaps of propaganda and lies peddled in the media against his govt will soon be corrected by 'Time' and educated Nigerians will soon realise how gullible they where to have swallowed the propaganda and outright lies from the APC propagandists

I blame Jonathan though. He did not make good use of the media. He allowed APC hijack the media from him.

Under Jonathan with Naira then valued at 120 to Dollar Nigeria paid a subsidy of nearly 3trillion in one year. Let us wait till year end to ascertain subsidy under Buhari. It might be less than 6oobillion thereby saving over 2trillion compared with Jonathan.

However the most important thing is to stop it and make our refineries work. I believe Buhari can.

Fuel Shortages to Hit Nigeria in Three Weeks, Seplat CEO Says

Nigeria will probably be hit by fuel shortages in three weeks as the government doesn’t have enough money to pay for gasoline subsidies, according to the head of Seplat Petroleum Development Co Plc.
“In three weeks we will be back to scarcity because we simply don’t have the money to pay for the subsidy,” Austin Avuru, chief executive officer of Lagos-based Seplat, said on Thursday at a Bloomberg conference at the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Nigeria almost ground to a halt last month during the country’s worst fuel shortage in a decade due to a dispute between oil-product marketers and the outgoing government. The shortage left service stations closed, aircraft grounded, and businesses unable to operate.
A lack of oil refining capacity means Nigeria subsidizes gasoline imports and suffers frequent fuel shortages even though it’s Africa’s biggest crude producer of about 2 million barrels a day. President Muhammadu Buhari, who took office on May 29, said this week his government is facing severe financial strain from a Treasury that’s “virtually empty” and billions of dollars in debt.

He told us in 2011 he was going to repair our refineries, six years in office, his government paid lump sums for maintenance and turn around of non-functional refineries, yet nothing worked. GEJ may not really be the one who embezzled our funds but by trying to please his kingmakers and saying yes to all just for second term ticket makes him culpable.Had he delivered that campaign promise of repairing our refineries, second Niger bridge and prosecuting the PDP relatives that stole subsidy funds, PMB would have died trying to become president,my opinion though.

The APC presidential aspirant Muhammadu Buhari on his Facebook account has posted a message in which he criticises fuel prices.

The statement says that out of desperation, GEJ’s government has increased subsidy payments and reduced fuel prices to N87 per litre.

Adressing Nigerians, Buhari urges: “Many people think it is a good decision. But it is not.You think you are paying less at the Petrol station, but you cannot experience much economic developments this way. Why? The monies that have been budgeted for Education, Security, Constructions and many more will be diverted to pay for subsidy as it was never planned.”

According to the prices,  the budget estimates $65 per barrel, while crude oil costs $48 per barrel. “We are losing $17 per barrel,” says Buhari.

Buhari mentioned that in recent weeks, India and Indonesia have removed fuel subsidies but Nigeria’s government has decided to take on more.

The APC candidate says that deregulation is the solution, not increased subsidy payments.

“GEJ is seeking to buy your votes for N10, but your future cannot be exchanged for N10. He knows this move is not sustainable and so, he will definitely increase it, even more than N97, if you vote him in.He waited up until 27 days to the election to make this move,” he adds.

The full statement is below:
