It's good the complex is being properly managed. Could remember growing up then and what crossed our minds was to take the elevator, which we did for fun after the close of school. The Glass house (Femi Johnson ) used to be a structure of attraction. Went to take lifts several times for the fun of it....Agba wa bura......

This is for all yorubas.

See that house, it's a landmark of your sophistication, progress and God given gift of blessing and grace.

When that building was built, 80percent of Nigeria was a village and majority of the people you see today from other tribes still walk naked as of then.

As a Yoruba man you should know with your brain power and the efforts of your hand, you will be successful.

God bless all yorubas.
I think we need re orientation....we should learn to work 2geda to develop our land. Its time to start being sentimental 2wards our tribe. We need to start putting our development first.....imagine if we had continued moving at the same pace we were wen cocoa house was built.

Thanks to cocoa mall and heritage mall, the vicinity of cocoa house is back to full activity, there is a radio station and a museum now in the building along with other businesses occupying some of the floors.

But guys do you know that a Chinese company built a 57stories building in 4 weeks? We are seriously behind its not even funny.

The 24 storey high-rise building, stands at a height of 105 metres and was once the tallest building in tropical Africa. It is located in the city of Ibadan in Nigeria. And was built from proceeds from commodities (e.g., Cocoa, Rubber, Timber and so on, of the then Western State of Nigeria), it was formerly called "Ile Awon Agbe" (i.e. "House of Farmers"). It was commissioned for use in August 1965, on January 9, 1985 it was gutted and was rehabilitated for use in August 1992.
