ikechu1278: For how long? For how long do Anioma people think the SE could bear their Igbophobia before we get tired? For how long can one continue loving brothers that have no regard for him ? A brother that thinks worst of him and deny's him at any minute, for how long do you think the SE would endure? You make mockery of the SE before the rest of the world, we ignore cos we assumed your madness has an expiry date, but does it truly? Surely there's got to be a breaking point, a point where we start denying you lots, where we treat you exactly the same way you treat us, with scorn and no respect, a point we start assuming the worst of you guys. Anioma is infected with Igbophobia, you know it, I know it, we all know it! There is no need sugar coating it anymore, it's time we all face the truth. |

pazienza: F2cking deny anioma or shut the f2k up. Who is holding you? You can deny or create whatever story you wish to but don't ever use Asaba for your lies. There have never been an anti Igbo anything in history of Asaba and even in this century. Really Anioma is infected with igbophobia?? I'm from anioma, grew up in fucking aniomland, but no, a fuckinh SE knows anioma more than anioma. Na you will tell me what dey my land. Nigga you just need a reason for you to hate, tell yourself whatever bullsh1t you like You're a wicked, devilish, monkey just like yoruba. Create as much reason to hate, if you like run mad in Aniomaland screaming your disdain, who fuvking cares what you want. Enyi. |

pazienza:nwokem stop this nonsense, what the hell is wrong with you?? Instead of taking correction you are still yapping nonsense. What mockery? and what percentage exhibit the igbophobia that makes you this judgemental. That a misguided few are making mockery of themselves with their denial and you are helping their course and falling for their self delusion . With such mentality of yours don't you think you even pose a bigger problem here?, why won't ikechu1278 be irked with this kind of statements coming from you? Pls stop it, i dont want to comment on this nonsense thread again. Another thread by the op where he identifies igbos with Anioma, but suddenly comes up with this thread claiming anioma is not igbo, does the confused accursed fool of an op make any sense? https://www.nairaland.com/1218643/why-anioma-state-must-created#14654588 I am a proud Igbo babe from Anioma, so quit the crap talk about Anioma being igbophobic, its annoying. ikechu1278: Guy,if you know Pazie very well you will never call him names. Infact, you will learn from him because he is one of the realest advocate of Anioma. I really don't care much about all these back and forth with Anioma and will occasionally insult them but people like Pazie will always come to their defence. And for you to call him a bastard is out of line. It very uncivil and childish of you...The man you are insulting is a walking encyclopedia!! Control your emotions...fie isaa n'anya. |
Re: The Aniomas of Delta State by Nobody: 6:08am On Jul 13, 2015 |
ikechu1278: See, bro. Asaba is a political centre, capital of the state. A lot of people organise events there on a daily basis who are not Asaba indigenes. Like I said, he didn't mention Asaba specifically; organising events in Asaba doesn't make you an Asaba person. I know a lot of you guys in the Oshimili axis identify proudly as Igbo (no one is more 'Igbo' than an Ibusa man, for example), but the truth is that as you move further west into Aniocha and Ika areas, or south into Ukwuani/Ndokwa areas of Anioma, the 'we are not Igbo' sentiments grow. Many posters from those areas have posted on this forum that they detest Igbos and do not share their 'criminal DNA' - whatever that is. So you can't say 'Igbophobia' or at least 'Igbo denial' doesn't exist in Anioma, even if large parts of Oshimili don't share those sentiments. In fact, the reason I wanted to know where in Oshimili the OP hails from is because this would be the first time I'm encountering an Oshimili man expressing such views. But then I've found out from his previous posts that he used to describe the Anioma as the 'Igbos of Delta State'. Now he's singing a different tune? Apparently, he's confused about this whole thing. 1 Like |

and this issue will never die....if you're from anioma n you see yourself as Igbo...good. If you see yourself as a non Igbo....good also. one thing people should desist from is lumping the whole anioma into Igbo or non Igbo. individuals should speak for themselves . |
Re: The Aniomas of Delta State by tonychristopher: 7:00am On Jul 13, 2015 |
Antivirus92: they keep using the term we and I know that we have sobs of exiled Benin felons that migrated to enuani and they were igbonized by indegens there unless they want to tell us Igbo either impossed their labgauged on them or colonized and enslaved them that why they speak Igbo even the term anioma is Igbo many of my friends are from ogwa and igbuzor axis they see themselves as Igbo even ukwuani see themselves as igbo I think I will go with custodians of culture which is the king and elders non have come out to say they are not Igbo so the best thing I do is neglect and disregard the nobodies here or what I call fake igbos we have pure bred igbo in anioma and they have spoken |
Re: The Aniomas of Delta State by Antivirus92(m): 7:18am On Jul 13, 2015 |
tonychristopher:i have a course mate presently from agbor. he does not see himself as an Igbo. I once had a friend from asaba who is willing to die on top Igbo matter. But they're all aniomas though with different views regarding being igbo |
Re: The Aniomas of Delta State by tonychristopher: 7:43am On Jul 13, 2015 |
Antivirus92: now you have said it all..especially in agbor axis we have a lot of exiled and felons from Benin ages that ran to agbor and took refuge ..so we can not call those people Igbo irrespective that they have been igbonized ..the nearest we can term them is fake Igbo but there are also pure bred igbo in ika region especially from owa and environs but Igbo akiri are write off.... so I think the king of ika areas are clear on the position and it will be stupid if I argue with subjects that are nonentities ..their kings have never denied Igbo do you know when there was Biafra war when the Nigerian army was in Benin the oba of Benin told the Nigerian army wben they came for courtesy call that anything from abudu downwards that they can annihilate ....that was why Biafra never had mercy during the Midwest invasion on Benin city so I will ignore them and k advise you please do ... they are fake igbos |

Don’t allow the opinion of an attention seeking slowpoke that has putty in place of a brain affect your reasoning. ANIOMAS ARE IGBOS. Radoillo: He said anioma people organized, he didn't say a specific community he said the entire anioma organized whatever bullsh1t he conducted in his head. Therefore, that's how I know what he wrote is pure lies. My parents still reside in Asaba till this day. My father attends every anioma anything no matter where it's being held. Even if the meeting is in warri, outside delta or even a remote village he attends each and every anioma meeting. In fact, when he came to visit me, he went out and found the anioma diaspora groups in my city and started their meeting. The fact my father didn't attend the so called "anioma meeting" he spoke of says a lot. It once again proved his wireless lie as something he pulled from his yansh. Likewise, their would have been an altercation in that meeting that would have made the news. Any denier would tell you one place you avoid with that denier bs is Asaba. Capital or no capital, that's something we don't tolerate whatsoever. Next time he wants to conduct a bs lies he dragged from his yansh, let him make it believable by using ika.
And you are telling me what I know because? The same way they have ika and ukwuani's that are proud igbos. Fredo, chyz and some other older nl member are from there but no, what you people like focusing on is the deniers. Even their own kings of each community within that axis have came out and spoke on the subject, one even wrote a damn book on the subject, in my old account, I even posted quotes directly from the kings but once again Una disregard all those and focus on the deniers. For awhile I used to wonder why Una do shit like that and since my staying on NL, I found out you people want desperately to find a reason to continue creating the wedge hence I've lost count how many Una have a "friend, neighbor, classmate, blah blah" that's anioma that hates SE Igbo. The problem is not us, the problem is Una.
Who ever denied their are Igbo deniers in Aniomaland. They exist and we accept but We told una their population is in the minority. Igbo deniers are literally the biggest attention seekers in the world, any full blooded anioma that lived in any part aniomaland would tell you that hence most of us ignore them but Una refuse to heed our words because you people just want to believe that are the majority. I honestly stopped giving a fuvk just like every other anioma on this forum that have kept telling Una this same fact for Goddamn how many years now. Who honestly cares anymore. 1 Like |

tonychristopher: You keep writing in igbo to me LOL. I've told you before I can't read or write in Igbo, I can only speak it. It takes me awhile to figure out what it is you're trying to say. Lol Anyway, I understand what you are saying and sadly there is nothing anyone can do about it. They have merged themselves in and can't be separated. The most disgusting part about it all is that they are migrates that were accepted into the community and how they repay back is by trying to distort history and favour themselves. I find the whole thing f2king disgusting. It's almost identical how I came into a forum where the onitsha people were arguing against the Benin descendant claim saying they didn't descend from Benin and the Benin were traders that came to their lands. I had a girl that used to tell the exact same thing and she's from Onitsha. I thought the chick was a bit coco considering everything I was taught about them says the opposite, it was until I can into that argument that shocked me really. I pity those that are going through it. I'm just grateful my ppl aren't going through it. Anyway I don't engage in the whole history distortion by the deniers because it's not my land they are doing that to so it's not my business. I just post words from the kings of the lands they are doing it to and move on. That's all you'll ever get from me |

There are pro Igbo people of Anioma heritage likewise deniers and we can't force this people to believe otherwise. That's why we should focus on those that are proud Igbos and stop beating this issue year in year out. The thing sef don tire me. With the way some of us go about this Anioma issue, it will look as if we're in it for something other than what it is. |

Afam4eva: The importance of the unity of all Igbo speaking groups can never be over emphasized. Politics is about numbers, Nigeria is entering a very crucial stage of its existence that Ndiigbo cannot afford to present a divided front. Ndiigbo success during the early days of Nigeria was built on strong unity of all Igbo speaking people, if we hope to reach such lofty heights again, within Nigeria or in an Igbo country, it's a must that we find a way to unite all Igbo speaking people, there is a reason while our enemies balkanized us after the war. Igbo unity will benefit both SS and SE. |
Re: The Aniomas of Delta State by Afam4eva(m): 2:33pm On Jul 13, 2015 |
pazienza:I understand your concern but is it not better you work with a group of people who you are very sure are unwaveringly committed to the Igbo course than to force those who have not really shown any resolve whatsoever to be identified with the course. I'm of the Opinion that whatever we do as Igbo people should be limited to the South East, atleast for now. It will be very difficult to include Igbo speaking parts outside the SE because of other interests that exist in those places. These things are dragging us back. I'm also not comfortable with the way Igbos on this forum throw "SS and SE" into every discussion. Let's save our heard first before thinking of a people that care very less of you. |
Re: The Aniomas of Delta State by pazienza(m): 2:54pm On Jul 13, 2015 |
Afam4eva: Afam4eva: The SS I meant there is the Igbo speaking parts of SS. Limiting the Igbo to SE is post civil war Nigeria agenda, for they know that as long as Igboland is limited to SE, the Igbo nation can never reach its past glory, let alone surpassing it. You play into their hands when you accept the boxing of Ndiigbo into SE. Do you know that once you box Ndiigbo into SE, Ndiigbo immediately becomes third behind the Odua-Arewa ? We can't reach our peak without uniting our people, this was the foundation of our past glory. Zik an Anioma Man United all Igbo speaking tribes and took us all to enviable heights http://chatafrik.com/articles/nigerian-affairs/calling-on-the-igbo-people-in-1949-by-dr-nnamdi-azikiwe Nzeogwu and Ifeajuna, two Anioma sons brought us back to square one, there just can't be Igbo nation without Anioma, it won't just be the same, we won't reach Zenith. These group of Igbos bring something special to the Igbo identity, for decades they had served as a shield for the rest of Igbo speaking people against invaders, first against the imperial Bini and later the Odua-Arewa Army, perhaps all those years of invasions and introduction of foreign genes into the genetic pool has taken its toll on the western Igbos, but we still need them, just as they need us, even if some of them are too blind to see that. |

SE has done well Post civil war, we had recovered all we lost after the war, by Nigerian standard, Ndiigbo are once again on top of the food chain in all standards of human development https://www.nairaland.com/2263635/south-east-south-west-south-south-lead-attainment, just one thing is remaining to make it all complete, and to get that, we need to get our house in order first. |
