A 73 yr old MARRIED elder from Benue was found
dead at a suspected sex worker's house, during a sex session with 2 sex workers police confirmed.
According to police public relations officer Area F, the
incident occurred on Friday evening after the victim left prayer session for evangelism .
The victim was found dead in the sex worker's room on
the bed with his trousers on the floor.
Police were alerted of the incident and attended the scene where upon
arrival they collected the elder's body from the woman's bedroom, much
to the surprise of his family members and fellow congregants.
When news crew arrived at the elders house in Benue suburb,
some close family members were heard saying the elder had gone to distribute hand bills at a street adjacent to the brothel but could not explain
how he ended up in their room, let alone on a bed and naked after he left his vehicle parked at the bus stop apparently to avoid
being seen by other congregants. The next thing we heard of was his death
and his body was found on the woman's bed while naked with his trousers
on the floor," said a resident .
The prostitutes, names withheld claimed the elder was a well-known client of theirs, who loved taking on multiple women at a time, with rumours of the elders immoral deeds having gone viral throughout the suburb and some
congregants were fully aware of it.
"What we got pertaining to this incident is that the elder and the girls
were having sex and probably he might have used sex enhancers . They were seen on several occasions together despite
the fact that the man is a church elder at Holy Ghost Army Ministry and the women,
known sex workers in the location," he said.
Prior to the incident one of the sex worker's raised an alarm after she noticed the man collapsed on her back during climax and never recovered , she confided in her friends within the same
location on what had transpired and one of them advised her to report to
the police.
Police attended the scene and removed the body from the bedroom before
conveying it to the General Hospital mortuary for a postmortem.
