I love almost all Naija food, but Ikokore is my nemesis!

I simply cannot stand the stuff.

I hate toasted bread made of egg, Gawd. Its poo and coses me to purge.

i hate ikokore passionately[i][/i].it looks like someone's puke (see above pic).
Not a huge foofoo fan.
Don't like most northern food too.Tried one weird thingie in Yola once,it was tasteless , no salt.And i can't drink fura for a millie bucks.

Hi all, Ikokore is a yoruba meal [ Ijebu people love it so much ] and it also used for ceremonial purposes. It is made from water yam, palm oil [ loads of it ], shrimps, fish, spices etc etc. During the Ojude Oba celebrations in Ijebu-Ode, it is the food that is eaten for the day. It is very delicious and nourishing. I also want to add that the tuwo that is prepared in southern Nigeria is trash compared to the real tuwo that is eaten up north. I know what I'm saying because I was in Abuja for 3 months in 2002 and I was friendly with some Hausas. Cheers.

eba is the worst food in this country, i hate it badly

Boarding school put me off a lot of foods for life; certainly the asaro. Fortuantely I am one of these people who can survive on rice thrice a day, 7 times a week.

Its funny how one mans meat is another mans poison.

Hubby & I love yam dipped in palmoil or vegetable oil and a pinch of salt. Cant do it too often though, as I am sure it has more calories than a big mac
