The Yoruba people I know call it Ikokore. I don't know the yeye people that call it Ifokore. |

I also don't like cocoyams. Then there is this yoruba meal made from corn called egbo or some name I can't remember now. It is my worst Nigerian dish. The owner of the private hostel I lived in back in my days in high school in Naija used to serve us egbo as a meal. I pray God will forgive her. The bottom line is Nigerian dishes are delicious just make it RICH and it'll be irresistable. For those of you that do not like one dish or the other, you must have had a bad experience with it. Some of you had mothers who were bad cooks and that affected your acceptance of those meals she's bad at preparing. The thing is: if it's poorly done and lacking rich ingre, you'll not like it. Come let me make beans for you naw, EH? Or is it ogbono and eba? The aroma alone will drag you closer, but don't taste it yet. I'll do it like 3 times in one week and I bet, no matter what you have against it, na you go advice yourself by yourself. That meal you hate so much, you really don't, just the people eating it make it look like that. maybe they're dirty but let someone who's good at it make it in a healthy kitchen, you go confess. But wait o, don't you guys think pounded yam makes people stupid? Like lacking the ability to reason. , just wondering sha. |

hate hate white beans abi na black eyed beans makes me fart like hell for 3 days straight and u no go find am funny but d brown beans is more expensive but ok 4 my system tho i dont experiment wit food much cos am a fussy eater so i just eat wot i grew up eating which is momsy's recipes/food i love pap (akamu) wit lots of milk n sugar wit dry akara but na once in a while thing sha but my bruv hates it, e dey vomit if im chop am one man's meat is another man's poison abi |

Food is gud, really gud. Its keeps us alive and healthy. As 4me, i dont hate. I like 2taste all and even if its crack, den dats hw its shud be. 4dat i wont eat much of that 1, but will try again somtime later. Naija foods are ok, so as 2many other continentals. I advise all 2 explore and gather experience in food. Before u finishing tasting the foods in the world 1 after d other, i guess u might av been 100+yrs old and u'll still wnt 2 taste more. 1 mans poision is anoda mans healing. |

people ikokore is the bomb  i remember the first time i saw it, i was like do people eat this i could not even eat it the first time but after about 3 weeks i tried it again and oh my it was the most amazing food i have ever eaten in my life the person that made it added, prawns, dried fish kpomo and meat my was it good, it is also the one of the most health food made in nigeria the food i hate is yam soup or cocoyam soup in urhobo. nasty but eat it that day because i wanted to be politeanother is bitter leaf soup, fufu fufu is just nasty Davidlyan are u ijebu ? |
