When will Nigeria start adopting an underground drainage system . Lagos, Rivers are one of the most important states in Nigeria, so why not invest in the state to make them presentable. Those pictures are not flattering.

Dont mind the paid agent. By my research on rivers state, Amaechi constructed many roads in PH with big underground drainages (stadium road, elekahia road, trans amadi lay out, old aba road, rumuokwuta road, choba road etc). This his boss, Wike is only patching few roads in PH.

The only major road re-construction Wike has award is PH to Onne road with RCC

A lot of the roads in Akwa Ibom were built by Julius Berger and have lasted longer than two years.

I'm not sure what happened to the road that you mentioned but JB generally do good work.

If you want bad roads - look at what Hi Tech or Arab Contractors build in Lagos.

Julius Berger has been building roads in Nigeria for generations now and Nigeria is very popular for bad roads. Its either Julius Berger has entrenched a traditioin of using sub standard materials to build our roads or we are not maintaining them well. I choose the former.

this is political arrangee. the pattern of work being done in PH as I can see in the pics above is not Julius Berger's pattern of work under normal arrangement. I can sense Wike pressuring Julius Berger to just start up something any how. anyway, I am happy for those that will benefit from this sharp sharp arrangee.

Tombia extension(clocktower rd.) is a job welldone tho I'm certain the budget for these face value constructions are inflated.
Security in PHC is a nightmare as an average of 5persons per week is either killed or captured by unknown gunmen.
3days back,gunmen hit our residence, shooting a guy in the neck and a mopol on guard in the stomach. The guy died on the spot but the police man still hangs on to life as at this evening. Ystdy afternoon,a filling station in this same area(Bobby)was raided and 3 pole wia killed on the spot.
It has never been like this in phc. God will deliver us frm this man.

I'm a serving Corper (Batch A, 2015) in Rivers state. I finished from the prestigious Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger state, with a BTECH degree in Physics Electronics.

Right about now, i'm thinking of settling down here in pH city but I need a source of income pending when the BIG jobs starts coming. I so much believe in Port Harcourt even though my initial plan was to serve in Abuja where my parents and friends stays.

I'm desperately in need of cute pupils/students with the will to learn and whose parents top priority is their ward's excellence here in Port Harcourt.

Also;
I give tutorial to NOUN students and also help in solving their TMA
questions.

I orientate and motivate pupils/students in their chosen career.

To further improve my students I.Q, i teach chess.

But I have seen where Julius Berger's road last long. Examples in Abuja, Akwa Ibom and Lagos.
