Aderemi lost it.
It's out of place for an Oduduwa Prince to sit below another "prince" whatsoever the reason.
This foool must not ascend that throne. Never!

Has anybody noticed how Yorubas' kings, Niger-Deltans' Kings(not Akwa-Ibom axis) and Hausas/Fulanis' kings/Sultans/Emirs exchange royal visits while a part of this country has been left out of this as a result of their repulsive attitude

No, I do not.

A governor in the SouthWest, a core Yoruba for that matter would not be trying to flex muscle over the throne of his fathers.

Aregbe would not want to play cards with the throne in Ife.

There are some thrones tradition has set too high enough for modern politics to mess with.

Does he have any right to visit OBJ and Dele momodu also or are those ones his outlaws. Ife stool is not to be politicised. Traditional institutions are to be revered and politicians distanced from it or else the last bastion of our culture will be thrown to the dogs.

Aderemi erred and he should be called to order. We need to call a spade a spade.

Power to be means people in authority across the country.

What country and what authority? You mean the colonial construct and the country named after River Ni.gger?

Well, I'm sorry, Yoruba cultural heritage/tradition is superior to that country and whatever power that comes with it.

Respect the royal stool of the Yoruba ancestors and take ya inconsequential power elsewhere. undecided

So an hausa king will now be given regard as to who would be chosen to be the king of Yoruba land. What an insult! this man is showing signs of traitor-ship. He doesnt deserve to be king

And one day, the Yorubas will see a picture of their Ooni barefooted at the palace of a Hausa emir. Heirs to the throne don't act like this.

There is strong relationship between Rulers, Kano Emirate has power and influence in case you dnt know late Oni's daughter married late Ado Bayero so he is Kano to see his sister and the Oni's grandchildren also the emir of Kano

SMH for slave mentality. So you like the pic of your prince sitting sheepishly and barefooted before an Hausa emir? Take it or leave, that picture will form part of the most cherished historical document for the Kano emirate. That picture tells a lot. Try to see beyond it.

How's it strong in the SW? Is the SW a conquered territory?

I believe almost all the Yoruba crowns are from Ife...so you can't be in a position as supreme and mighty as that, and start acting like a serf. Throwing out common sense and respect for the culture, to jostle for a seat. These folks aren't principled and this clown doesn't deserve the throne. The gods must reject his slimy arse.

I am not Yoruba, I am just an in-law. This picture is paining me to the core. Like you rightly said, a Yoruba prince looking like a serf before a Hausa emir is not a sight any self respecting Yoruba man should fail to frown at.

Compound fool! your yorrobar slave has gone to pay homage to his master and you here talking nonsense. Reasonable yorubas are embarrassed by this shameful act and this shameless bas.tad here is as usual looking for a way by all means to bring his nightmare (Igbo) into this show of shame.

This thread just goes to show that yolobarsss are in perpetual servitude and in eternal subservience to their Hausa Lords/masters whom they will always bow down to worship, as is evidenced by this shameful visit from the ile-ife prince

@9jacrip

I'm not feeling this picture. Why would a Yoruba prince, who might end up as the next king of arguably one of the most important thrones in Yorubaland, go visit a freaking emir of Kano (not even the King of the Sokoto emirate - the northern jihad seat of power)?

It seems those who label modern Yoruba folks as northern slaves aren't lying. This picture is disgusting! undecided
Reasons:
1) he is still a prince
2) his throne is not even at par with the kano throne in no way. his kingdom is only a mere local government in osun while sanusi's is one of the most inflential and populous.

Lol.
Very ignorant assertion not worth debating.

Let me leave you to ponder on your Kano emirate not being indigenous but rather a system denoting the conquest of islam/fulani on the Hausa.

I wonder where prominence lies in an institution of religious subjugation. tongue
