This a woman that understood Jesus more than anybody. Before the disciples even had an iota of knowledge of whom Jesus is, she had already said 'Do whatever, He tells you'

How then could she lead me astray, when she didn't lead the disciples astray.

How loving of Jesus to hand us over to her care on the cross of calvary.

There's something Catholics and Muslims try to contradict about the divinity Christ, Jesus Christ is not the son of Mary but The Son of God. The Bible made so many references about Christ being the Son of God and not the son of Mary. Even if Mary had refused to accept the offer of bringing the Messiah into the world, God would have gotten another person.
