please can anyone here explain the ECTS system. For instance, a course requires an applicant to have obtained 75 ECTS credits in physics. How can this be converted to the Nigerian scale of course units. cc. Starflux, Niyogeol |

Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by Nobody: 6:00pm On Jul 11, 2017 |
Elizabethoni: In some schools IELTS is compulsory at least I've confirmed from UIO for the 2018/19 set, I dunno about ntnu and I'll advice you send an email to the school if you're not clear on their academic or language requirement. As to which is better, it depends on what you want |

Elizabethoni: Had a lot of time lately so here goes for everyone: 1. NTNU says: "A bachelor degree where the language of instruction is English from the following countries: Botswana, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Jamaica, Gambia, Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, South Africa, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe". 2. UiT and UiS make use of the GSU list so go to http://www.nokut.no/en/Facts-and-statistics/Surveys-and-databases/GSU-list/ and search for nigeria. we're marked "nei' (no), same with other english speaking countries like U.S.A. The lady was right about oslo though, they changed their english requirement to 'Yes" for nigeria. anyone here who has gotten in touch with the schools personally on this issue can please shed more light. 1 Like |

seunny4lif: I am bored, here goes: Undergraduate studies are mostly taught in Norwegian. Only way in is to register for a Norwegian course and pass the exam before he is considered for undergraduate study. problem: you have to be a resident to apply for said language course. 1 Like |
