THIS IS A TYPICAL CHRISTIAN STYLE OF EXPLAINING THE SHAMS IN THE BIBLE. DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT IS WRITTEN JUST BELIEVE, BUT HOW WILL YOU BELIEVE WITHOUT THE SCRIPTURES,

BESIDES WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE GOSPEL THAT JESUS PREACHED WITH, NOT GOSPELS WRITTEN YEARS AFTER JESUS HAS ASCENDED TO HEAVEN OUT OF WHICH IN THE MAJORUTY OF CASES THE AUTHORS ARE UNKNOWN AND OF WHICH JESUS KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT.

PEACE.

at least it was not revealed while the individuals were practising coitus interruptus (like the Koran)

@babyosis

You said the bible was not revealed when they were making coitus interruptus:

Was the Quran revealed to many people or just one person?

Can the revelation/authorship of the bible be verified?

Can the bible stand the same test with the Quran?

I could remember vividly when you went to answering-islam and lifted rebuttals from one of your writers telling you to ignore Quran 4 v 82 and that you shouldnt answer Muslims if they tell you to use that for measuring the two books.

Have you read the book of ezekiel and songs of solomon (books of flirtations) and other books of the old testament where virgins were spared for the wariors in your bible.

Honestly, I get sick each time I read the bible. Is the bible worthy of showing to the little ones?

You keep saying coitus interruptus, can the bible stands the Quran in terms of knowledge of things that has happened, things that are yet to happen (prophesy), science, biology, justice, equality before the law, economics, science of nature, etc?

Is the bible in existence the same jesus brought? By the way, did jesus come with bible or Gospel? We learnt that Moses came with the Torah, can we same the books of the OT is the Torah given to Moses and Likewise the NT too, can we say that NT is the Gospel given to Jesus from Mathew to Revelation?

Bible is the collection of many books, how come bible replace Gospel of jesus. How come the letters of Paul, James, Luke etc became part of the Gospel of Jesus?

Also you christians are ingrate. We all know that jesus came with the Gospel but in all the books of the New Testament, no where you will see, 'the gospel according to jesus" but ' gospel according to saint mathew', 'gospel according to saing Luke' etc but no one according to jesus.

If they ask you who the real followers of jesus are, tell them them it is the Muslims, we believe in his birth, his ascension, his miracles etc to the extent that Allah named a chapter after his mother. Also will you compare the story of jesus in the Quran with that of the bible? In the Quran, Jesus did his first miracle when he was still a baby but you christians claimed that he did it when he was of average age (when he turned water to wine at a party)

Can the bible stand the same test with the Quran in all ramifications?

There's absolutely no comparison between light and darkness
The Bible being that light.

Is it possible to compare a dove to a vulture in mannerism?
When you go out to eat grilled fish would you have a grilled serpent as a worthy substitute?
I think not!!!

How come christianity is the light?

I wonder when christians start laying claim to the bible as being the light when we have lots of sex stories, absurdities, incosistencies, vulgarities, pornography, contradictions, unknown authors, plagiarism, pagan influence, etc.

Very soon, we will compare the two books based on the chapters and  verses and other issues present in both the Quran and the bible and see which should be called holy book.

Because it shines in darkness and darkness cannot understand it.

2Cr 4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
2Cr 4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
2Cr 4:5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake.
2Cr 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus

Thanks for the post. Honestly, you christians will always expose your weakness for people to come in.

Now I saw you quoted Corinthians that was written by Paul. Most Christians carry the bible about but do not know what is really inside the bible except what they are being told in Sunday Schools and on Sundays.

I have a question for based on the Corinthians you quoted for me. Here are my questions:

1. Can we say that the First letter written to the Corinthians is really the First letter to them? Yes/No

2. Then, what happened to Paul's first letter to the Corinthians?

Fallible Bible
Zero errors

. . In 2 Samuel 10:18 and 1 Chronicles 19:18, like many bible quotes, the zero was lost. According to 2 Samuel 10:18 David slew 700 chariots and 40,000 horsemen. Yet 1 Chronicles 19:18 says that David slew 7,000 chariots and 40,000 footmen. (Refer to 360 Questions to Ask a Hebrew Israelite Part 4, and Is There A God? Parts 1 & 2.)

Which one is correct? Neither, because there were no numbers in the original Hebrew bible. They used the first ten letters and the sifr, which is the zero (0) that was invented by the Arabs. (Refer to 360 Questions to Ask a Sunni Moslem Part 1.) It came from the Ashuric/Syraic (Arabic) word safara meaning “nothing to be nothing” or sifr “to be empty,” from which you see comes the word cipher. So, there are many mathematical mistakes in the bible with quantities and dates, because it had to be adjusted to someone else’s system. Now, if you look up the word math you will see that it simply means – “science, to learn.”

This just goes to show you that the stories of your bible are not accurate and have been revised, re-revised, re-edited, rewritten and rearranged so that you wouldn’t receive an accurate account of the original story. They played “telephone man” with the story being passed down through so many people.

@Horus

I don't know if you will read this because you seem to have everything to say about almost all things on Nairaland, You keep Quoting from one source.

Well You said that the bible is fallible and you used the ACCOUNTS to Expound this is

Please Look at below

2 Samuel 10:18

18And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew the men of seven hundred chariots of the Syrians, and forty thousand horsemen, and smote Shobach the captain of their host, who died there

1 Chronicles 19:18
18But the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians seven thousand men which fought in chariots, and forty thousand footmen, and killed Shophach the captain of the host.

I want to now see that in samuel account says there were 700 chariots but did not give the exact figure of MEN.
The Chronicles gives the exact number of MEN as 7000 and Does Not say The Exact Number Of Chariots.

So please Look for other Contradictions. Note that there will be account based. I am a tall man sometimes when I want to describe somebody I will always say "that short Guy?" while the person will not know who I am talking about because he or she is Shorter than the Third person I am talking about because I am a 6''6, and is confused because she or he see this person I see short as tall.

I wont because of I want to say the same thing lie to you say a man that is 5 feet 7 is tall. Account based issue in scripture will seem to contradict but you must cross check with other accounts and I see what I write not what I am told to Write. There however other places in the bible where people were told to Write.

The Bible has wittinesses between itself, It is not a reference book it is The Book You dont read it to look for facts and figures you will enter into Heresy as many have done.

You don't take your own knowledge when reading Scripture. You must take your Zero Head to it. It is a stone that will Crush anything that comes its way it will serves as a stepping stone to anyone that TRUST TO STEP ON WITH THE FEAR OF THE LORD.
Re: 101 Contradictions In The Bible by babs787(m): 1:02pm On Mar 29, 2007
@backslider

This is simple comprehension

Lets study the verses together.

2 Samuel 10:18

18And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew the men of seven hundred chariots of the Syrians, and forty thousand horsemen, and smote Shobach the captain of their host, who died there

The above verse says, 'david slew the men of seventy hundred chariots of the syrians'

The meaning of the above is that David slew 700 chariot men of the Syrians.

Now to the other verse

1 Chronicles 19:18
18But the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians seven thousand men which fought in chariots, and forty thousand footmen, and killed Shophach the captain of the host.

The above verse says, "david slew of the syrians, 7000 men which fought in chariots.

The above means that david slew 7000 chariot men of the syrians. The above is a contradiction unless you dont understand the verses. The arrangement of the verses made you think that there are no contradicion but really, the two verses are talking on the slewing of chariot men by david. One saying 700 and another 7000 of the same chariot men

I want to now see that in samuel account says there were 700 chariots but did not give the exact figure of MEN.

What sort of interpretation are you giving the verse? Can c chariot move itself? Dont you know that if they say 5 chariots of men, it means 5 men. Likewise here that says 700 chariots , meaning 700 men of chariots of syrians. Read the phrase here, "David slew the men of seven hundred chariots of the Syrians"

The Chronicles gives the exact number of MEN as 7000 and Does Not say The Exact Number Of Chariots.

Here also, 7000 men is the same as 7000 chariots men. Read too, "David slew of the Syrians seven thousand men which fought in chariots"

So it doesnt matter whether a particular number is being mentioned for men as long chariots is being mentioned. If a verse says 700 chariot mens, it means that there are 700 men and if a verse says 700 men that fought in chariots, it means same thing.

Understood?. There are contradiction brother
Re: 101 Contradictions In The Bible by Horus(m): 9:15pm On Mar 29, 2007
@backslider

The son of God called Jesus died so that you can be saved (John 3:16-17), people were confused about what else they should be doing after he died to go to a prepared place that Jesus spoke about in John 14:2. It becomes even more confusing nowadays because in the books of Matthew, Luke, and Mark, they all record something different about how to receive this salvation. If you believe according to the Bible, no one knows what must you do in order to be saved. Many Christians claim that faith in Jesus Christ is both necessary and sufficient for salvation. So, in other words, faith alone is required which John 3:15-18 supports. However, other verses tell a different story. This is obviously a big problem amongst Christians because whole denominations have split over these bible contradictions.

Mark 16:16 says that baptism is necessary for salvation:

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

That verse implies that faith is a requirement or else you will be “damned.” Thus, this raises the question: Is faith alone required, or is it faith plus baptism? Churches are divided on this question, especially when considering infants and children who die before being baptized. The concept of “limbo” was invented while they were trying to resolve this contradiction. They weren’t sure whether children were to go to heaven or hell.

Some bible verses such as James 2:14-15 says that works are required for salvation:

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can (sic) faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

And according to your definition and opinion, the term “works” can mean anything from good deeds towards others, following the laws of the bible and/or the fear of God. Some so-called scholars interpret this passage to mean that faith and works are both required, or that faith automatically produces works. Others interpret it to mean that works alone are required. Who’s right, who’s wrong? Because there are other verses such as Galatians 2:16, Galatians 3:5, Hebrews 6:1 and James 2:17 that state works and faith are both necessary and enough for salvation and they don’t mention faith. All of these verses are from the red lettered writing of your bible, which you claim were the actual words of Jesus, the Christ. Can faith alone save you? Can faith plus baptism save you? Can faith plus works save you? Can works alone save you? According to the Bible and not your opinions, which one, two, or three of these qualify you to get to paradise?

Now according to Ephesians 1:4-6 and Revelation 17:8, each of us was predestined for either heaven or hell “before the foundation of the world.” This means that no on can be saved unless their salvation was established from the beginning. If belief is required for salvation, then only those predestined for salvation are able to believe (Acts 13:48, 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14). If obedience is required for salvation, then only those predestined for salvation is able to obey (1 Peter 1:2, 1 Peter 2:7-cool. These quotes all state, or clearly imply, that God premeditated or predestined your salvation and damnation long before any of you were even born. So according to the very scriptures that you believe in, you can’t be or do anything other than what you are predestined to be or do. This is telling the criminal who is so-called “born again” that no matter how many times he is baptized, he can not be reformed. According to John 6:44, John 6:65, Romans 9:14-16 and Psalm 65:4, salvation depends on God's decision, and (God) can save someone anytime he likes.

And you wonder why Christianity is divided into so many sects, and no one know their destiny.

Paul was a great apostle of the Gospel,a thorn in the flesh of Mohammed and his slaves even to this day.
Paul did write several letters which were by inspiration.
The order or number of letters is inconsequential to a Christian.
Christians have no other additional books and no need to dwell on trivialities as to who and where the letters were written.
It makes absolutely no change to the message of salvation.

I know that it is regarded as "good Muslim works" to argue and debate with Christians.allah somehow scores you points in the jihad of baseless arguments,in Christianity it is a waste of time.

Christians are not made by winning arguments, one becomes a Christian by total surrender to the will of God so you see we have totally different missions that's why I prefer to state and points and leave you to "glory"in your knowledge.

It is enough for me that Christ died and rose again and won me victory.

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,* for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Rom 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."*

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

Rom 1:19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

@Horus

Thank God for your Understanding of My explanation of the men of seven hundred Chariots as against a Specific Number of seven thousand men .

To the Issue you stated.

To be saved one must know what he or She is saved from

You must also know what state at which you are With God that Created you.

You must know the provision of Salvation.

You must know what Life or the result of the blood shed on Calvary.

First when man was made he was given an eternal command that he must not eat of a Particular tree Genesis 2 verse 15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Man ate of this tree and thereby transgressing the eternal command of God so when God came to ask man He was committing more Sin by defending himself and making God Look very Wrong for making Eve. But look very well It was that God saw the Loneliness of man that He took out man from man called her WOMAN. THE SIN WAS COMMITTED AND MAN DEFENDED HIMSELF.

If you look very well this is the same sin that Satan Sinned against God in heaven. Satan was created for the soul purpose of Praising God in the Palace of the All Powerful most Holy God He together with lots of angels planned this overthrow and they were cast out of heaven. Read The Below passage in Issiah

Isaiah 14 verse
12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

16They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

17That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

18All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.

19But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

Notice that he had a BURNING DESIRE TO RULE OVER GOD AND MAKE GOD HIS SUBJECT.

Job 38:7
while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?

According To bible account Satan desired in his heart to Move his seat against God, Now God saw this sin in his heart and warned him but he refused as we see above we are like Satan when we disobey God. How? We go our own way and follow our own desire we become "demons" following Satan To war with God.

Now The punishment of Satan is hell and since you have teamed up with Satan to war with God then God has no choice but Throw all who disobeys him to hell.

Now because we have all transgressed the word of the Lord, Satan had right over us and we were Slave to sin, because we broke the commandment of God. God throughout the Bible tried to set a theocracy where he would save a nation and use that nation to save the World but that nation called Israel was sinful.

Jesus was sent by the triune God to come and die so that true his death the works of sin might be destroyed, if you look carefully sin Gained power by the Institution of Law. So that man found a way to go around the law and the spirit of the was neglected. The law was arbitrary. This means that Law was made to bring out good, does this mean we don't have a conscience? No . It only means our conscience was given the clarity to know that we are punished or justified.

You will agree with that when there is no law there is no sin. However we are allied to Satan by our simple disobedience to God and obedience to Satan. If you look at genesis very well the woman knew that the serpent was more cunning.

So sin was deceptive that is why you will not be deceived into believing Jesus in him there is no deception. Jesus father and holy Ghost are Separate beings God is not like Satan the Deceiver he wont be doing magic to say he one man in heaven and the same man on earth and the same being descending on Jesus as the Holy Ghost.

Now Jesus came by the Love of the father to save us from Power of sin, hell and sin guilt.

WHAT WE ARE TO DO IS CONFESS WITH OUR WHOLE HEART AND FORSAKE ALL SINS. WE SHALL NOW PROMISE NEVER NEVER TO SIN AGAIN THE LAMB THEN WASHES YOU OF ALL THE SIN AND YOU ARE MADE RIGHTEOUS.

YOU HAVE A FEARFUL AND HUMBLE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD. HE SPEAKS TO YOU AND BRINGS YOU UP AND YOU MAKE SURE YOU DON'T BECOME PROUD LIKE SATAN TO THAT YOU DON'T LOOSE YOUR RELATIONSHIP OF LOVE WITH HIM. EVEN IF GOD SAYS COME TO HIGHER TABLE HUMBLY DO SO.

THE BIBLE SAYS HE IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSON. IT IS NOT OF WORKS LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST REMEMBER SATAN SANG BEFORE GOD AND HE WAS THROWN OUT SO WHO AM I WHAT AM I. HOW LONG DID SATAN SERVE GOD ? FROM ETERNITY TO ETERNITY.

Horus I hope I have helped you.

You are just too hilarious. Its now you know that you should not indulge in any debate. I am not debating to win either but to bring out the facts, proofs etc for those that will still be around to read everything posted on this websites after we might have left nairaland. You know that I have not been quoting wrong verses but bringing out some verses for you which you do not know that they ever exist in the bible.

I know that Paul wrote many letters, he even wrote 20 books in the NT.

I aso read your verses from the book of Romans but am not after the book of Romans but Corinthians. You have not answered the questions on the letters to the corinthians.

Here are the questions again:

1. Can we say that the First letter written to the Corinthians is really the First letter to them? Yes/No

2. Then, what happened to Paul's first letter to the Corinthians?

Note: The above questions are on the letters to the Corinthians only and not to all the letters written by Paul in the bible.

smiley smiley smiley

@davidylan

I read both. They are both holy books  grin grin. Honestly, you have no issue(s) to discuss in Islam except on extremism and terrorism while there are lorry load of questions on all the doctrines in christianity.

I spend most of my times reading the Quran and other related Islamic texts. You know that an individual must know his/her religion very well before knowing others because I learnt that you people are a very hard nut to crack  cheesy cheesy. Any muslim that does not know anything about his/her religion will just be looking at anything you paste because he/she never knew anything about his/her religion let alone reading the Quran. The truth about the bible is that, its just like a story book or novel, you keep reading different stories, letters etc. Very funny and interesting cheesy cheesy cheesy

My brother backslider has been bringing out verses from the Quran which we have been treating together. Besides, you never believe the Quran, so one need to give you what you believe in.

As for the Imam, no cause for alarm, a muslim must seek for knowledge. Imam is not the one that brought Islam, Islam has been in existence before him. He cannot preach any thing aside the Quran, Sunnah etc for me and expect me to accept, never.

What is the meaning of your post??,  Your post is a total deviation from what we are discussing:Contradictions In The Bible
At the moment you are just out of topic.

Noah's Craft

Genesis 7:21
"And all flesh died . . ."

. . . According to that, Noah couldn't have been on the earth during the flood or else he would have been counted amongst the dead. Where was this "ark?" It couldn't have been on the earth. Either this is another contradiction in the bible, or the "ark" was actually hovering above the water and not resting upon the earth or the water that was on the earth.
This is difficult for you to see because you were taught and programmed that this "ark" was some type of boat; and it's written in every version of the Bible, in movies, in novels, etc., that Noah built a big boat. However, if you go to the Hebrew language and look at the word they translated as "ark," you will see it is the word "tebah" meaning vessel or craft. Thus, you will see that the "ark" being a boat, was only implied. Therefore, someone threw in the English word "ship," which if questioned, could be a boat or craft, and is one of the reasons why the English language is a language of confusion.

My post was to Your question of having variance in worship. And I gave you the Genesis of The fall of man and the redemption.

Your Noahs Ark Question

I happen to know about ships, swimming and floatation because of my first hand experiance on A ship my Dad Served On. I questioned how a big Ship Like NIGERIAN NAVAL SHIP ARADU could have so many things and not sink.

When They are Doing Nigerian Naval week( I remember it is In MAY) please Just Go and see for yourself at THE WESTERN NAVAL COMMAND IN APAPA (NNS OLOKUN). You will see that Noah ark could not have been programmed into my Head grin .

1) The ark Floated
2) Water did not get into it

THERE ARE DIFFERENTS TYPES OF BOAT. I LOVED TO KNOW ABOUT WEAPONS AND BOAT AND EVEN SUBMARINES ( I KNOW NIGERIA DOES NOT HAVE ONE)

MY DAD WORKED IN THE SUPPLY AND PURCHASE OF THE NIGERIAN NAVY HE RETIRED AS A SENIOR OFFICER AND I WAS PRIVY TO SOME OF THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SHIPS WE HAVE.

EVEN IF YOU REMEBER THAT HITLER USED WHAT IS KNOWN AS A UBOAT HOW WOULD YOU CLASSIFY THIS ?

I WILL CLASSIFY THE NOAH'S ARK AS A BOAT OR SHIP BECAUSE IT FITS INTO THE DESCRIPTION OF A BOAT.

YOU CANNOT CALL IT A SUBMARINE BECAUSE IT DID NOT SINK.

YOU NEED TO ENTER THE NOAH'S ARK TODAY AND BE FREE FROM YOUR SINS. IT WILL RISE YOU ABOVE ALL YOUR SINS. THE ARK OF NOAH TODAY IS JESUS IT DOES NOT SINK TO THE DEPTH OF SIN IF YOU BELIEVE HIM YOU WILL NEVER SIN.

TO PROVE TO YOU THAT JESUS IS THE NOAH'S ARK WHEN THE DISCIPLES WERE ON THE SHIP AND THEY SAW JESUS WALKING ON THE WATER HE SIGNIFIED THE SON OF GOD THAT MUST BE GIVEN TOTAL BELIEF WHEN PETER TOOK OF HIS EYES FROM THE LORD AS SOME PEOPLE DO AND LOOK AT THE MULTITUDE OF SIN WE SINK INTO MORE SIN.

YOU NOTICE THAT JESUS WAS QUIET WHEN PETER WAS SINKING HE HAD TO CALL ON JESUS. JESUS IS THE TODAYS NOAH'S ARK ENTER IT TODAY AND BE FREE FROM YOUR SIN.

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

However, Peter did the exact opposite of what Jesus taught and went farther north on the Mediterranean Coast to Caesarea (Acts 10:1-11, 18) where he converted Cornelius, a Centurion, which is also known as the Italian cohort (Acts 10:1). Thus, Peter “extended the church” by introducing Gentiles in, and also led the twelve Apostles into the ways of the Gentiles.

. . . When Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, and I quote, “and I say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Was Jesus saying that upon Peter he would build his church as Roman Catholics believe? . . . The name Peter is Petrus in Greek and is translated as “rock.” From this it cannot be concluded that Peter was the rock that Jesus was speaking of because after he addressed Peter he says, and I quote, “And I say unto you, thou art Peter . . .” He didn’t say “upon you I’ll build my church.” Clearly he wasn’t addressing Peter or any of his disciples. However, Roman Catholics have managed to twist Jesus’ word to justify their claim that Peter was the first Pope.

However, if you read on a little further, you will see where Jesus calls Peter “Satan.”

Matthew 16:23, KJV
But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

. . . The fact is, the more you learn about the Roman Catholic Church, the more you can see how Satanic it is.

You are here discussing something that is academic at best when there are issues that affect us as we speak and you have chosen to ignore them. Since you won't come there, I have come to you. I posted the topic below

and I need your input to that. These are issues of real life issues and not academic issues such as contradictions and what have you. Hope to see your input there!!

And where did Babs737 get the Bible? Is it not a sacrilege? Should we not stone him to death for touching our HOLY BOOK? This is where you see the hypocrisy called Islam. Do to others what you can tolerate. many of us have read the Bible and it is clearly without Contradictions. Just let the Holy Spirit guide you and you will discover the TRUTH and the LIFE. Now tell me, how many barks of trees did Mohammed write on to get a copy of the Quran? I beleive you have read your Quran well enough for you to have enough time to criticise the bible.

Na wa o grin

You called that criticism?

Is your bible not one of the holy books? If you do not read a book, how will you know what it contains? Abeg let me be doing the reading jare, am enjoying it. grin

contradictions in the bible, no way D grin (are u ok now)

As for the Quran having been written on the barks of trees or on anything, never mind, let us apply simple logic.

I have been giving you verses present in some bibles but expunged in others, so to verify the completeness of the Quran too, let me have verse(s) present in some and absent in others. As simple as ABC.

cheesy

That question should be passed to Muslims " If you do not read a book, how will you know what it contains". And we are waiting for your response. As for the Holiness of our Bible, it is not in doubt. The clear difference is that Christians are matured and literate enough to differentiate their left from their right and not some bigots who doesn't even know that they have brains let alone use them but resort to violence for touching a bag containing a book; and not even doing what is in the book grin
