According to reports, the former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has said that Nigeria will win the war against Boko Haram the same way the country defeated Biafra secessionist during the civil war. The civil war which occurred from 1967 to 1970 was an attempt by some states to break away from Nigeria and establish an independent Biafra state. It is very sad that Nigerian leaders are the one dividing Nigeria along ethnic lines, Obasanjo should not use Biafra to relate to Boko Haram considering what cause the civil war, had it not been with the help of Britain, Russia and Egypt can Nigeria army defeat Brafran soldiers. Our leaders should not be dragging us backward. After the war,Nigeria- Biafra agreed to sign no victor no vanguish to avoid guerilla war and that work perfectly to heel the wound of the war.
