I suggest you go for counseling.
Counseling, in the sense that it would profit you. It can be from your Mentor or Religious head. It is a psychological issue that is best dealt with medically(Psychiatry) or Ethnoreligiously(which depends on your Faith). The addiction is what needs to be removed first, then total elimination can come after.
