Please vice president, you have to intervene in the propose 40% increase in electricity tariff before it is too late It is not justified at all tariff has been for more than three years and we have been paying without light. Even as I type this no light in my area.

Whos advising these people?? Use the surplus to build roads, bridges. What's the point of buying cheap fuel when you spend more money to fix your car suspension that's being rendered useless by the bad roads. Damn, we need to stop taking these popularist stance .

Now, we have well over 30 modular refineries, so we think a lot of modular refineries would come. Many of them, their major concern is feed stock, are we going to be guaranteed feed stock?

This is where the scam lies. how do you want govt. to guarantee you feed stock? that is asking for free crude allocation which has been the practice over the years with our 3 refineries.
My take is that a true investor should be ready to buy Nigerian crude at the current market price and refine. It will safe us the trouble of looking for international buyers.

He had the pipeline supply issue in mind there . . .

There is no free oil.

Well the gov't pays far less now (probably a sixth - a tenth of what obtained between 2011-2014), that should be translating to something at the pumps already.

BTW, if it were still N155 to a dollar, as it is now (the whole oil situation), gov't would have been paying zilch in subsidy -- actually it would have been we paying fuel tax if the present N87/litre is maintained.

Tell Sanusi and all those conspirators, we need a stronger Naira.

Diversification of nigeria economy; must it be agricultural a way out which have always been a medium of massive looting. why can't someone give a thought for industralizations
Because my friend there is no power to drive it for now, agric can begin immediately as well add the most jobs. When the power situation improves after about 3-10 years we would naturally have foreign investments who can buy up facilities like ajaokuta steel complex and indeed build more industries while govt can focus on other areas like policy making, social services etc

Eliminate such issues by going back to basic economic principle, nearness to source of raw material. There is no sense installing those modular refineries away from source of feed stock. the max should be 10km

The only way to reduce pump price is to increase Subsidy.
