A Govt that does not know how you earn your money now decide how much you can spend with your master card.

The implication is that a Young entrepreneurs who could previously order for Goods or raw materials and pay using his master card is now forced to to either buy in piece meal or resort to cash payment which the govt has blocked

I'm sure it would have been worse; much worse if we continued with the old administration. Buhari is not responsible for the collapse of oil price. We were already borrowing to pay salaries when oil price was stable. Time for us to look inwards and diversify.

The OP doesn't understand the way the economy works nor about the balance sheet
1st You blame buhari for guiness nig plc decline in profit but fail to look at the part where buhari resumed as the president 5 months ago, out of a 12 year balance sheet , whereas profit and loss statement aren't usually released same month even if it's unaudited. So less than 5 months of the guiness profit decline issue was in buhari ' s term whereas d total income for this year and last was between the NGN 21 billion bracket just a reduction in profit based on an increase in expenses to keep sales up even while the country's purchasing power reduced as a result of decline in world oil price in a huge consumption, crude oil dollar based economy.

In real life even before we had the last election crude lost value with our consumption based economy the govt started touching the foreign reserve.

Op foreign reserve is what we use to pay for dollars that ur Mastercard uses.

There are two options use the foreign reserve and let the naira loses value to maybe NGN 300 per dollar or more.
You will Still complain dat what was buhari dat naira lost value and your would end buying for more than the NGN 300 because d Dollar still won't be available and d more expensuve black market is still d most viable option.

Or
Restrict use of dollars until the country's dollar revenue matches or surpasses our dollar expenditure.

Buhari does not build without foundation. That is slow and sure. The only.thing PDP has done is to sell all FG assets almost 10000 companies at cheap prices and even made the privatised firms useless and inefficient making them monopolies operating without even taxation - too much pampering causes inefficiency. Feeding bottle economics with government assets sold to bad managers.

They also moved government money around the banking sector and created 'fake' reflationary effects in the economy. Okonjo and Aganga were able to attract short term investment into the economy but twice the investments that came through the stock market all vanished when the companies ran into problems internationally.

PDP is the party that did not build refineries, petrochemical plants, Steel plants, et.c when Nigeria was earning $100 a barrel from oil. They merely sold what we had and frustratEd any investment that did not have Dangote and a other few people involved. The opportunity of $100 a barrel will never come again.

Nigeria should build it's economy with strong foundations. Not flash. It is investments in agriculture, agro allied, solid minerals, petrochemicals, chemicals, cement and services. We also need to stimulate consumption by empowering the poor with money and skills. If there is no middle class Dangote won't have anyone to buy cement and people will stop buying petrol.

I was expecting some dullard to spew this nonsense and immediately you came on board. Are you now saying the Buhari body language is utterly useless? If it's good, it because of Buhari but if it's messed up just like the idi.ot is presently doing, then blame Jonathan. You guys will keep playing the ostrich with all manner of rubbish excuses till the end of APC. Isn't it obvious to you that Buhari is confused and knows nothing about governance; he wanted power by all means and now he has got it and that's it. Nothing more nothing less

shell job loss is worlwide, its due to downturn in oil business, oil workers are losing jobs all over the world now. Guinness end if year report ended sept, pmb took over in may, let us discuss with some depth of facts and analysis. even gej and okonjo warned of tough times ahead.
