Are this deaf? Ojukwu left at the end of the war, when things were hopeless. The very next day Ojukwu left, a ceasefire was declared. So what would have been the point of Ojukwu staying back to be killed over a war that was over? So if it was you that was leading a war and the war is ending tomorrow, you will stay back and get killed for nothing? Use your brains

I just sighted a man that needs a lot of lesson on Biafra war.

My Brother be honest to yourself as an Ibo man; go to a standard bookshop by books on Biafra. Writers like Ojukwu, Amadi and others preferably. It will be a disservice to your tribe if al you know about the war is hear says.

It is just an advice.

I have read many books on the civil war plus eye witness accounts from people like my own father who was a Captain in the Biafran Army. So if you have nothing of interest to say, shut up.

He is part of Nigerias history so whats your stress?

We yorubas these days have even become worse than what we imagine the igbos to be with these hateful incites.... Cant we just have peace ancd celebrate one another like brothers?[/size]
Your people gives us more reasons why one Nigeria should fail.
As long as Igbos are in Nigeria, Ojukwu would forever be an icon smiley

Happy posthumous birthday.

Meanwhile, the Biafra you fought for and was defeated and which you ran away has been revived by one cone-head, albino burukutu sipping bastttard, who is currently languishing in DSS

detention facility right now.

The people you left behind are Cowards and empty chest beaters. They only rant on social media and pages of newspapers.
His (Kanu) gullible followers have inherent animosity towards any group who didn't support their ideology.

They tend to be tyrannical and parasitical.

why are we igbo's even celebrating this man, who out of his bitterness of submitting to higher constituted authority led us on a path of death

without preparing for battle who the hell does that? a so called military officer for that matter, just to fulfill his selfish goal of being in control,

the idiot even stabbed us in the back and fled to cote d' Ivoire, when the going was rough, he alone is responsible for the death of millions of

igbos and should never be celebrated but be recognized as the fool that he is, the most annoying part of it is that during the war a lot of people

did not want to fight but were forced to go to the war front for a cause they never supported and it is a known fact that as of today we igbos

are yet to recover from the impact of the war on our people because of him. i hope u rot in hell you bastard.

None of these people were freedom fighters. They were people fighting for the political emancipation. Ojukwu on the other hand was fighting for sovereignty and a new nation.

Which war? The one they were feeding you? it was a rebellion by inebriated fools that was handled with kids gloves. Unfortunately that was the only confrontation in recorded history that Igbos got engaged in, they were resoundingly whipped.
You Biafrans should be thanking Awolowo for bringing the rebellion to a quick end with his ingenuity, otherwise your tribe would have been completely wiped out.
Awolowo saved you all. grin grin

Without firing a single bullet, we brought Nigeria to a point that two Yorubas were foisted on the major parties in 1999.

No wonder the Yoruba man is still a slave of 'one Nigeria'. After you got the presidency then what? Is the Yoruba nation any better for it? Is Nigeria any better? It is a combination of 50 years of Yoruba/Northern misrule that has landed Nigeria where is it. Ojukwu has long been vindicated in life and death. The Nigeria he fought against turned out to be a cesspit of iniquity and desolation.
