Tunde rushed into the bathroom and turned on the shower, but the cold water did nothing to calm him down. Tunde’s career was over, he had drunk too much and now, he was doomed. His only hope now was that the girl he had hit with his car survives. Otherwise, he was finished.
To the whole world, Babatunde Williams had his life under control. He was one of the youngest and most successful fashion entrepreneurs in the country, he was the perfect example of tall, dark and handsome, he had a girlfriend that other men would kill to have. In short, he was the type of man every woman wanted. But, the whole world was wrong!
Tunde’s father died when he was ten and his mother succumbed to insanity because she couldn’t live without her husband. So, little Tunde had to live with his aunt, Tunde’s aunt was one of the nicest people in the world. She took care of Tunde like her own child. But, she couldn’t repair the damage that had been done to his spirit when his mother succumbed to madness. Other children avoided Tunde like a plague because their mothers had warned them that madness was contagious. Tunde shut himself from people, the only friend he had was his sketch pad which made him the successful man he was. He was not capable of loving anyone but himself. He only had a girlfriend because he needed to satisfy his sexual urges and maintain a respectable position in the society. Besides that, he had no love for her and she knew it. So basically, Tunde’s life was a mess, but the whole world and Tunde himself did not know it.
He had rushed the girl he hit to the hospital, but not before the press got wind of it. Now, his life was doomed and the only thing that made him happy was about to be over. All because one silly girl did not look before she crossed. Another thing about Babatunde Williams was that he believes he is never wrong.
After a month at the hospital, the girl was discharged. But, there was one problem....
