this isn't a matter of been a Nigerian. Mexico's second goal deserves that award! A typical Lionel Messi's goal! |

king94:Yeah, i saw this goal too and think it deserves goal of the tourney. I won't vote a goal simply because it's a Nigerian goal, and definitely not to help split awards between the Nigerian players. 3 Likes |

Looool. TBH, to vote for any of those two goals will be tantamount to blasphemy against the gods of football. Have you seen this goal? http://m.fifa.com/u17worldcup/videos/goal-of-the-tournament/video=2731603/index.html After seeing this, tell me what you think about Orji or Osimhens goals. babyfaceafrica: Exactly my point. One look at the other videos I knew their goals were just regular stuff, nothing out of this world. |

Icon4s: This is why Nigeria is not moving forward. Sentiments everywhere. No one is saying the truth; triblalism is on the rise. Must we vote for Mikel all because he is Nigerian when it is obvious the Yaya Toure is a better player than Mikel? Vote for the better player not your countryman! Leave sentiments apart!! 1 Like |

safarigirl: On the contrary, the reason Nigeria doesn't progress is what you just typed. Stop being sentimental. People like you will vote for a president all because he is from your region not considering competence. Vote for the right person because he deserves it not because he is from your location. No wonder tribalism and religious fanatism is everywhere in Nigeria today!! Na my own better pass. 1 Like |

king94: Bros no mind those babies jare. They are the reason this country is not moving forward. They don't know tribalism is not patriotism. The moment we quit sentimental feelings in this country, Nigeria will start moving forward. 2 Likes |

How do I vote? Okonkwo All the way. Any Nigerian that won't vote Okonkwo is either tribalistic or should check his/her origin. This is an opportunity for us to look out for our brother and I believe that its not bad if Nigeria adds another award to the ones already won. Golden Ball - Nigeria MVP - Nigeria Bronze ball - Nigeria Third best player - Nigeria Best Goal - Nigeria Please we deserve it after all we are defending champions again. 1 Like |

Not a football fan but the Mexican goal did look more exciting. it's like all the defenders were on slow mo while the guy was doing some quick silver stunt But since I like Nigeria to win in everything, I voted Okonkwo. Go Team Nigeria. Bring it home 1 Like |

I have done my part by voting. But that Mexican goal against Nigeria (2nd goal) is a major contender. |

lets be frank, diego cortez's goal against nigeria is the best. it was a messi style beat 5 defenders and place the keeper kind of goal. but out of prejudice and sentiments i will vote orji's goal. 1 Like |

safarigirl:This is why Nigeria is where it is today. We are so filled up with cocktail of favouritism and band-wagon. So, you are saying I should vote for Okonkwo because he is Nigerian when Diego Cortes's goal is clearly better than Okonkwo's goal? So, you are saying because Belgium or Mexico might be biased with their votes, I should be biased too? HOW GLORIOUS IS NIGERIA'S FUTURE! Diego's goal is the best of the tournament and not okonkwo's which, in my book, ranks 2nd in the tournament. Let's stop this NONESENSE and give MERIT a chance! Nigeria clinched the trophy, took the golden boot and golden boy award and that's good enough. Diego has my vote. 2 Likes |

efilefun: Oga, this is not a matter of racial discrimination. Just cut the crap! Everyone has a right to vote for whoever they think deserve the award; we shouldn't always be tribalistic and sentimental. Do you mean Okocha as world player or Africa player? Ronaldinho won the Uefa so he was given world player award. Okocha was a great player but he was unlucky with trophies, that's it! If he made it to the finals of tournaments, he would have been awarded. George Weah was African and he won world player. These golden eaglets are Africans, they are winning these major awards because the made it to the finals! How many goals did Okocha even scored? Can you compare him with the likes of Messi and Ronaldo of today? Okay, now tell me why these Nigerian players are choosing to play for foreign clubs and not our national clubs. 1 Like |
