Her profile is far better than those with
B.Sc+M.Sc+PHD+LLB+B.Ed.

** Special adviser to UN secretary-general Ban- ki - Moon on post-2015 development planning

**Founder and CEO of centre for development policy solutions

*Founder and executive director Afri-projects Consortium.

* Governor, International Development Research Centre Canada.

But some daft people above thinks she does not worth the position because their sense of Common reasoning has been blocked by hatred.

Does she even merit to be a minister? Does she have education of any kind?

Do you know the meaning of Adjunct Professor? You don't need a degree to be an Adjunct Professor.

Where exactly did she get her SSCE? She doesn't have SSCE

She must have had some sort of on-the-job training and she must have performed well in Projects or positions she handled.

Some people think she made it to the top through "connection" but connection will not get you to UN neither will it tale you to the level of adjunct professor of masters at Colombia University.

For decades, so many people with different degrees have been appointed, how well did they perform?

It's better if your work speak for you and not
necessarily degrees

You should read about successful people from different works of life around the world who had no formal education.

I have already given you my reply in the previous post, go and watch and read about her performance in different things she has handled....

And I will give you examples of people who made it big and are successful without formal education.
This is Nigeria, you must have all the papers before your performance is checked.

A person without a degree became an adjunct professor in Columbia University? That she didn't publish her degrees doesn't mean she doesn't have them.

Per the bolded, a typical Nigerian mentality. You did not mention how "short legs" landed her in such position without a paper as door knocker.

The jury appears to be out on the emboldened claim in your post also, you know...
#justsaying

....In a petition against Amina’s ministerial nomination, dated October 12, 2015, signed by one S.S. Abubakar and addressed to Senate President Bukola Saraki, a copy of which was made available to LEADERSHIP, the youth group doubts the secondary school she claimed that she attended.

The group called on the Senate to carry out a thorough enquiry into which of the secondary schools she attended in the Isle of Man, because according to the group, the Isle of Man is not the name of a school but of a self-governing British crown dependency, located in the Irish Sea between the Great Britain and Ireland.

A check on her curriculum vitae showed that, as part of her education, she obtained a secondary school certificate (O level) from the Isle of Man, UK, in 1979.

But the petition, which demands to know the particular school the ministerial nominee enrolled at the Isle of Man, recalled that her nomination during President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration was withdrawn for a similar reason.

The petition reads in part, “With due respect to our amiable and distinguished senator, we want this great chamber to clear our doubt of her enrolment at Isle of Man. Information had it that during President Obasanjo’s administration, she was to be nominated a minister, unfortunately the fact that she did not enroll for any secondary school disqualified her of the nomination, following the provisions in sections 175 (5) and 65 (2) (a) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).”

Degree > Action.

I think I need to break it down for you.

According to her CV, Amina was born in 1961 and didn't get her first job until 1981.
From 1981-1991 Amina J Mohammed worked at Archon, Norman & Dawbarn a Multi-disciplinary firm of Architects, Engineers and Quantity Surveyors in Kaduna, Nigeria.

Even though she didn't mention her job role, I would nevertheless ask you this question: was she employed in that firm because of her brilliance or intelligence? You don't just become an Engineer, a Surveyor or an Architect because you speak English with a British accent. It's safe to state she wasn't employed in those roles. A young lady in her twenties with no degree, no SSCE could not have got a high profile job in a firm that requires expertise which takes years of training to acquire. Whatever role she got in that firm has nothing to do with high level of intelligence. It is even curious that she listed her specific roles in other organizations except this firm where she worked for 10 years! Since she had no known expertise and training, it is pretty obvious that if she was employed in high profile role, it would be as a result of "connection".

From 1991-2000, Amina J Mohammed served as Co-Founder & Executive Director of Afri-Projects Consortium, Kaduna & Abuja.

This doesn't count since she is a co-founder. Can she deny herself a job? That is, you can't say her performance in her previous role/job recommended her for this position. Whatever it is, one could say she had enough money to float her personal business. Afri-Projects Consortium was engaged by Buhari's PTF in the 1990s for managing HIV/AIDS intervention programmes. Since the firm has no experience in such intervention and the position not advertised, it was a "paddy paddy" connection job. Nothing in particular recommended her firm for that job.

From 2000-2002 Amina J Mohammed served as Private Consultant & National Coordinator for CSACEFA, Abuja.
CSACEFA is a National Coalition of Civil Society Organization (CSOs) working on Education issues in Nigeria. Forty (40) Education NGOs who came together in the run-up to the World Education Summit in dakar in April 2000 formed the coalition. CSACEFA developed a core set of positions and attended the Dakar World Summit to join in the call for quality education for all.

Apparently, when Buhari's job as PTF chairman was gone as a result of transition to democracy, there was nothing for Amina's APC, hence CSACEFA where she was both a private consultant and National Co-ordinator at the same time. And what did they do? Of course, they worked with Ministry of Education! You too can form an NGO and name it anything. You can even name yourself a coordinator of 100 NGOs and then use your connection to work with the Federal Ministry of Education.

From 2002-2005 Amina J Mohammed served as, National Coordinator EFA, Federal Ministry of Education.

Can you see the link between the NGO she formed and the job she got at the Federal Ministry of Education? Connection.

From 2005-2011 Amina J Mohammed served as the SSA to the President on MDGs; coordinating debt relief gains to Nigeria.
And this too? Isn't this connection too?

Of course by the time you have many agencies including Nigeria's presidency listed on your CV, you can easily get job with such firms such as Bill and Melinda Foundation and even the UN. She got that UN job based on her previous role as SSA to President on MDG, a position she got based on connection.

There is nothing special about her other than her British accent. Since she doesn't have any apparent talent, no expertise, no degree, no SSCE, she couldn't have gone that far without connection.
