The awkward silence of the Federal Government on the consistent IPOB protests in Southern Nigeria partially signifies a government that has no genuine interest on the unity of Nigeria at heart.
These protests have gone on for months and tens of lives have been lost, yet the government does not deem it necessary to adopt a diplomatic means to solving this menace that jeopardises the unity and safety of Nigeria and Nigerians.

We may term these protesters 'miscreants, poor jobless youths and illiterates' but can we also call those protesting in Sweden, Israel, Britain, USA, Indonesia, India, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, and a host of other foreign countries, 'miscreants, poor jobless youths and illiterates? To deny that these youths wield a strong will capable of turning Nigeria around is to deny your usefulness, right, and importance to life and that is why I have come up with the suggestion below to help in 'enforcing' a diplomatic move in solving the Nigeria-Biafra brouhaha for good.

It is not news that these youths voted for their representatives in the National Assembly to represent their interests, but when these representatives blatantly ignore the grievances of the electorates for their own interests and comfortability, it would be tantamount to sabotaging the unity they swore an oath to protect and one cannot help but impugn on their patriotism.

The above is what is obtainable in Eastern Nigeria, our lawmakers have turned a blind eye to our interest and agitations and as such the unity of Nigeria is in utmost jeopardy. I willfully suggest other representatives in the National Assembly invoke their majority influence and expel/suspend every lawmaker of the South East region from attending sessions and mandate them to seek a solution to the Biafra menace, they should be made to visit the grievances of these protesters, and suggest legitimate ways to present their cases to the nation and her laws, after all, they all would be accomplices to treason when these youths may have their way. The constitution has made our lawmakers elusive in the process of Recall, therefore, it's imperative the FG ensures drastic moves are made to see that South Eastern senators and members of house of Representatives do not return to the assembly until they have a reasonable case to present on behalf of those that voted them.
I implore the President of the senate and Speaker house of representatives to throw their weights on this, and ensure that these failed lawmakers live up to their tasks for peace and unity of Nigeria.

Let us not forget that it is the right of every human being to adopt a name for himself provided the name does not impinge on the life and business of others.
Self determination is not a crime, nor a treasonable felony in the world we live in now. So the Federal Government can stop using force to suppress the protesters and suspend our lawmakers, they don't bring anything to the South East and they can't give to Nigeria more than what 40million South Easterners can give her.

Even if they are all dead, their dead bodies will be bundled to Abuja by Buhari and mummified there, because he needs things to appear normal, as if "Igbos are represented in the national assembly" even if those people are now representing themselves.
The moment Nigeria started killing unarmed Igbo youths who are protesting for a better future in Biafra, those representaTHIEVES were supposed to have resigned in protest, or returned home for consultation until things pan out.
