1. A broadcasting station transmits at a frequency of 89.5MHz. What capacitance together with an inductance of 30uH is needed to tune this station?

2. The linear coefficient of expansion of aluminium is 23 x 10-6oC-1 and that of iron is 11 x 10-6oC-1. The length of an aluminium rod is 0.24 times the length of an iron rod when both are at 0oC. The temperature of the aluminium rod is increased to 60oC while that of the iron rod is imcreased to 45oC. Calculate the ratio of the increase in the length of the aluminium rod to that of the iron rod.

3. A 10.0Kg mass is dragged along a horizontal table by a 60N force. The force is inclined at an angle 30o to the horizontal, and the coefficient of dynamic friction between the mass and the table is 0.15. Calculate the acceleration of the mass. g=10m/s2

all I did was resolve the applied force into into its horizontal and vertical components.
For the horizontal
Fnet= 60cos30 - Ffriction

For the vertical
60sin60 + N = mg

Where mg= 10×10 = 100

Then I proceeded to look for the acceleration cool
