@chosenbabe Double-minded about your team? Not good enough. I am afraid the netherlands might just pull off an upset. anyway, that remains to be seen. Do you have a premiership team you support? |

Re: Germany 2006: Who Will Win The World Cup? by hucarson(m): 5:12pm On Jun 17, 2006 |
Argentina leads the group in terms of the performances seen so far. Some countries will get better as they progress while some will wither away. Brazil, Holland, Italy, Portugal and Czech Republic will also go far. |

suesiddon: Argentina even has better midfielders
|
Re: Germany 2006: Who Will Win The World Cup? by Reverend(m): 9:54pm On Jun 17, 2006 |
Argentina are only good at putting their hands in the air when you point guns at them. That is what I can remember from the Falklands war anyway The game of the day had to be Italy v. USA. It has just ended 1:1 and was a real battle. The Italians had a player sent off and the USA had two players sent off. It was a great match and probably the most exciting of the tournament so far! |

It is interesting to read the comments. Pie1ect, you are obviously not english from your comments and your use of english. You may be from Nigeria. Owen and Vichel do not support the english but Owen! your name is english, are you just not patriotic? Goodguy, glad you support england but please don't be sexist, lots of females are knowledgeable football supporters or players. there are also lots of men who are not the least bit interested in football, this comment applies to Bagoma too. I think England has done well to get to the world cup, as has every other team who are in germany now. Well done everyone and I hope you all support your local team. I hope everyone is proud of their local team. |

Brazil are looking very weak against Australia! It is now half time and the score is 0:0 and Australia have had far more goal possibilities than Brazil. Interesting to see what the score will be in 45 minutes time :-) |

I got a thriller, you might a' seen it before but it sure makes some sense. Spain is my team tho'. Brazil won the world cup in 1994. Before that, they had won this title for the last time in 1970. If you add up: 1970 + 1994 = 3964 Argentina won the world cup for the last time in 1986. Before that only in 1978. And 1978 + 1986 = 3964 Germany, though, won the world cup in 1990. Before that, Germany won in 1974. Look: 1990 + 1974 = 3964 This could lead us to guess the winner of the World Cup in 2002, since it should be the winner of the 1962 World Cup (In fact 3964 - 2002 = 1962). And Brazil won the world cup in 1962! (And, in fact, Brazil won the 2002 WC) This numerology seems to work, And now, who would be the winner of the 2006 world cup? Let's see,3964 - 2006 = 1958 And who won in 1958?, Oh, Brazil did!!! |
