You have to consider factors that might have led to them not calling you earlier. Factors beyond their control. Factors like
~Network congestion, which is common during cross over nights.

~If they had access to their phones, depending on where they were crossing over in. Some churches pray into the new year and by 12:45am you still see them holding candles and shouting Amen.

And other few factors or reasons, beyond their control.
